What are you trying to argue, that people shouldn't be using tools? One of your distant ancestors could have just as easily claimed that flint knives are just another way to not take responsibility for mammoth killing.
The electoral systems is actually a horribly broken system, not at all how it was originally intended. Because most states now do require their electors to vote based on the popular vote of their state the electoral system really is no longer anything more than an unfair popular vote which gives more weight to voters from small states then voters from big states.
Most of the time the inequality of our votes doesn't change the outcome of the election, but when it does, such as in 2000, people get justifiably pissed.
You have the right to be forced to be financially responsible for other people. The list goes on.
Where in the USA do you live where you aren't financially responsible for other people? I'm not aware of a place with no taxes and where police, fire, roads, etc are only payed for when used. And if there was such a place, I sure wouldn't want to live there.
That's a new one to me. I have heard complaints that many train systems would be uneconomical, in the sense that they'd never survive without some kind of subsidy.
What transit systems do we have that exist without subsidies?
You are comparing a phone to a general purpose computer? Why not compare it to your first phone and see how it fares? A phone isn't supposed to do everything your desktop does, but the stuff it can do is pretty amazing.
I don't have an opinion on the green icons, I can give or take them, but the black notification bar is great. When using my phone at night I didn't like being blinded by the unnecessary white.
That explains the youtube link now saying "This video has been removed as a violation of YouTube's policy on nudity or sexual content. Sorry about that."
Are you serious? It says heat. Yes infrared radiation is emitted. Yes there is more molecular motion. That's what heat does, do you really need the article to spell it out?
But you didn't RTFC from the diagram, "In the anti-laser, incoming light waves are trapped in a cavity where they bounce back and forth until they are eventually absorbed. Their energy is dissipated as heat."
You need some jargon in there to make it a real geek insult. How about "Yo momma's so fat the next Big Mac she picks up will increase her mass beyond the Chandrasekhar limit", then you could score some bonus points by throwing in something about electron degeneracy pressure.
Google is entirely responsible for the software on the N1 and NS, not the hardware manufacturers. Google uses these phones to develop the OS, so an update for these phones already exists before a new version is ever released to the public.
"but most people would like the government to create jobs during a recession rather than cut them, don't you think?"
No, not based on the most recent election
How I hate it when people pretend that elections are some sort of a single issue ballot measure. There are dozens of reasons to be unhappy with the current party in power: a lousy economy, wars, Constitutional and civil rights issues, health care concerns, environmental issues, etc...
Neither you nor any politician have any right to claim that the last election proves anything about your pet issue.

Do you see something in that link about using Google Voice as a VoIP service? I don't.
Yes, Google Voice gives you its own phone number to use and anyone can use that number to send you standard SMS messages.
Why do you laugh at the idea of "ether"? It's wrong but it was a perfectly reasonable theory at the time. I don't see anything laughable about it.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at.

You mean the largest population centers are all along the coast. San Bernardino is not on the coast and it is very prone to earthquakes.
5% of the money will buy you 100% of the sound, plus the whole concert experience and maybe a few beers as well.
Well yeah. There were a lot of conspiracy's about the delay, but that was always the only believable one anyway.
Clearly you are not in America.

Who knew Qt was so sexy?
Flash doesn't require a firmware update. It is supported by Adobe, and they have been fairly regularly updating Flash player for Android.
For the record though, the original droid shipped with 2.0 and it has received updates for both 2.1 and 2.2.

Why use percentages in an intentionally confusing and inconsistent way like that?

And don't forget the damage that the "wars" have done to civil rights.
NeXTStep is now Mac OS X, and .app is still the extension for application bundles.
Google is entirely responsible for the software on the N1 and NS, not the hardware manufacturers. Google uses these phones to develop the OS, so an update for these phones already exists before a new version is ever released to the public.

From the second sentence, "It was intended to be used as a platform for listening devices." There you have it, mystery solved.
