why buy new equipment, when you've already got the camcorder and ps2? to save money, that's why. if the ps2 can't do it (which i pretty much doubt it can, as many other posts explain why), then go ahead and drop the cash on a laptop. but if it CAN, then there's no need to spend the money.
If people care so much about being "watched" by these stupid cameras all over the place, how about wearing a hat? Or sunglasses? That way, these systems can not recognise you. It's so easy, yet nobody else seems to be mentioning it.
i'm a high school senior and have been using a palm pilot for the last two years. it has done nothing but help me with my studies. how can schools actually BAN such usefull devices??? i understand not allowing games (i have wasted many an hour playing dope wars myself) and making you shut the things up (none of my teachers want it beeping in class) but they also offer such a great educational value that they should not be banned, but instead encouraged.
actually, YOUR math is wrong. don't forget, that at the edge of the disc, the track is much longer than in the middle, so you can fit much more in the edges of the disc than you can near the center. this would account for why it holds only 180 megs or whatever.

has anywone tried www.audiogalaxy.com yet? it has a lot of the features that napster SHOULD have had.
