Highest ping I saw in the stats was 7. Most looked to be around 4. It would be nice if I could get something like that on dial-up. I guess the HPB got weeded out early.:)
Anybody get a pic of this guy? I want to see how pale he is. Probably eats through a Jolt IV in his neck.
You're joking, right? You think they're going to take the funds earned from the dinner and blow it on Armani suits and caviar, or what? Court cases cost money- lots of it. You're not paying $250 for dinner, you're making a donation and getting an enjoyable evening out of it. Then we'll have an organization that can actually afford to pursue these cases in the future.
And if you disagree, please include the name of ONE profitable Linux company in your reply.
Redhat!:-P But I don't disagree. I think people are starting to figure out that planning and products are more important than buzzwords. Nasdaq's sure learning.
On the other hand, I certainly don't buy the argument that open source is dead because companies can't profit the same way they have in the past. Linux has come a long way on volunteer efforts, and it'll keep going as long as people are interested. Anything else is icing.
Personally I don't know any human Genes, although my friend had a hamster named Gene. It died, unfortunately. You'd think it would be harder to count the non-human Genes, but I guess that's far in the future. Didn't they count the mouse Genes a while back though?
I'll probably wait too. I bought an Athlon 550 when they first came out. It's still running, and I'm happy with it, but it's Slot-A, which makes certain things difficult. I want to see what my upgrading options are like before I commit to another dead-end path.
so shaddup and massage my feet while I write this socket function. And where's my damn cappuccino? Hello? Like, how am I supposed to get any work done in these conditions?
The Key Role of Impurities in Ancient Damascus Steel Blades (1998):e n-9809.html
t m dispells some of the most common myths surrounding swords, including the scarf slicing one.

It has some nice pictures too, if you don't know what Damascus Steel looks like.
http://www.miaminiceknife.com/pictures_1.htm also has some good shots.

30 grand, not bad for a weekend. Maybe I should look into a different career. How much did second place get again? :-)
It probably isn't the easiest thing to figure out (what is the value of an appointment to the Supreme Court, times seven?)
You only need 4. ;-)
Currently, the plan is to transition those customers who:
Looks like Linux users stay with Qwest.net. You get to keep your Qwest address, too, not like the Windows users:
Your Qwest.net e-mail address(es) will be inaccessible 10 days after you successfully transition your service to MSN Internet Access.

As in "GIllustrator" and "Xontour." Nothing can stop open-source! We will find a way around your puny alphabet restrictions! Aaahahahahaaaa
...the way people are already using this technology: virtual nanomanipulation...
Ahh, but how's the virtual tittymanipulation? What else is the net good for but bomb recipes and yak pr0n?

Just hire a bunch of Rocketguys. They'll go up for some free beer and a Hooters gift certificate.
