"Julian Assange's crime is to violate the fundamental principles of government, to lift the veil of secrecy that protects power from scrutiny and keeps it from evaporating. It is well understood by the powerful that lifting the veil may cause power to evaporate. It may even lead to authentic freedom and democracy if an aroused public comes to understand that force is on the side of the governed, and that it can be there for them if they choose to control their own fate. We should all thank Julian for his courage and integrity in providing us with this precious gift, at great cost to himself, much to our shame." - Noam Chomsky

Thank you for this post. It's amazing how many people are being taken in by the propaganda being pushed by the Corporate Media/Military Industrial Complex/Democrat/Republican money machine. This is the same thing that happened with the Iraq war. It's about oil.
I work for local government, and I know that there are many times when the person doing the hiring already knows who they want, but they are required by law to conduct a certain number of interviews. So obviously they're not going to give you the real reason you weren't picked. It would be better to not know at all then to believe the lie they tell you.
The Iraq War seems to be fading out of memory already, but it should never be forgotten.
Bill Moyers told the story much better than Michael Moore or anyone else did.
Just about a month ago, Verizon was reporting that my wife had used some ridiculous amount (can't remember exactly how much) of data on her phone. It turned out that both their website & their phone app were reporting MB as GB. It took them several days to fix it.

Will the ________, ________ merger be bad for consumers? Yes.
Not while Christopher Tolkien is alive.
The other problem is that nobody wants to talk about it. When was the last time we heard a politician mention overpopulation?

That pretty much eliminates everything I've ever done on Twitch.
