    Because they're only taxing on federally funded highway/interstate miles, not on local infrastructure.
    And they use the GPS, so that way there's no problems with knowing where your vehicle is.

    You know, because that local road that sits underneath the highway is simple for the GPS to figure out...
    Or the frontage road that's 20 feet to the side of the highway...

    But then again, it's always happened with artists.

    Probably because, next to mothers, the only folks that truly CREATE are artists.

    But I do know that they're watching twitter.

    I sent out a tweet, during one my last jury selection, at lunchtime, that we were in the middle of jury selection.

    no specifics, just a "we're at this point in the process"

    After lunch, I was called into the chambers and dismissed, because they had seen my tweet and were afraid that I might
    engage in "too much" social media and release too much information.

    I was surprised that showed up on court that quickly, actually. I don't know how they found it, but I assume
    that they're performing near constant searches using jurors names.

    And at this point, I'd been working on the "Internet" i.e., traditional but including Bitnet, for 7 years.

    It's not like it wasn't out there to find. I even had a website online.

    Of course, Archie and Veronica were pretty popular alternatives back then. So maybe they just didn't know what to use or where to look...

    Probably because it's also about the ease of troubleshooting issues.

    How do you troubleshoot something with a GUI after you've misconfigured?
    How do you troubleshoot a programming error (bug) in the GUI -> device communication?
    How do you scale to tens, hundreds, or thousands of devices with a GUI?

    CLI makes all this easier and more manageable.

    This is a ruling that is going to spur a lot of changes to software vendors.

    *everybody* will end up being "a licensee" of the software, and you will no longer own anything.

    And yes, this will extend to FOSS as well... licensing through copyright is still licensing....

    Do these judges even understand the enormity of their decisions?

    I think these folks are actually trying to use scare-tactics in order to increase their own budgets short-term,
    knowing that there is no feasible method of performing such a task.

    My HTC NexusOne with flash 10.1 works fine. I haven't found a youtube video that won't play on it.
    I haven't tried many flash games, because i haven't had a need to.

    Even Strongbad's sbEmail's works fine. i don't notice any issues or lag or anything.

    Perhaps he should look at not only his OS, but also his hardware and his connectivity, and also his expectations.

    A phone is not a desktop. And if you don't have a physical keyboard, you're not going to be able to do certain things.

    Given all that, I still prefer Android over iOS. and my phone over any of the iPhones.

    What if i exercise sitting down? I bounce my legs up and down like a drummer for most of the day. Does that count as not sitting?

    Hell, i sit down at home. If my wife is sitting on top of me, does that also not count as sitting? or do we have to be
    completely tantric about it to count?

    I mean, i'm just trying to figure it all out here....
