    Well, maybe that's why MS has kept its name out of the zune ads? Not because MS isn't cool enough for an mp3 player, but so that they can return to the market with a new version (which will need a new name and design after this desaster), without having tainted their brand already?
    With yet another DRM system?

    Natural variability allowed excessive dust from Africa and the el niño effect to kill the ability of hurricanes to grow this year. Both the dust and the el niño effect were likely caused by global warming.
    If they could not predict the dust and el niño effects over a period of less than a year, why should I respect their predictions 10 years out?
    What exactly is your point? That you don't believe the predictions of Accuweather, a private forecaster group that is more or less leaning on the "GW is man made"-denier side, and that proves GW doesn't exist?

    In the article you yourself linked, Vermiform Appendix the first paragraph:
    In human anatomy, the vermiform appendix (or appendix, pl. appendices) is a blind ended tube connected to the cecum (or internationally, "caecum"). It develops embryologically from the cecum. The term vermiform comes from Latin and means "wormlike in appearance". The cecum is the first pouch-like structure of the colon. The appendix is near the junction of the small intestines and large intestines.
    ... says not a single thing about why having an appendix would in any way be useful. The contradiction is only in your mind, and probably stems from your misconception that the appendix is an neccessary part of the cecum, which non of the articles claim.

    Throughout history, CO2 levels have always lagged behind temperature increases. Even RealClimate admits it http://www.realclimate.org/index.php?p=13.

    Yes, forest fires and volcanoes spew out a lot of carbon dioxide. They just spew out over an order of magnitude less CO2 than man. And most forest fires aren't "operating independently of man" either, for that matter.

    Not that I'm a big proponent of certifications, but Apple has not taken any steps to get their machines certified for military or government usage. This means that it is not acceptable for certain tasks which require that certification.
