    How the hell does your case-sensitive file system work when "i" and "i" are infact different chars, and thus "tit" and "tit" are two different files?

    Shit, you're absolutely correct. Since it's a beta surely nothing will change until it goes gold. Thanks for point that out to all of us....... Yeah, they are probably not going to fix minor bugs, but they will certainly replace the default file system.

    Also, while Apple folks and other tech-savvy folks may know the Intel-based Macs run Windows, why does the news article not even mention that? For many people even considering buying a Mac, the fact that a laptop like this can easily run Windows natively or seamlessly alongside Mac OS X with packages like Parallels Desktop at least bears repeating.

    And why doesn't every article about a new Sony or Lenovo machine mention that it is not only capable of running Windows, but Linux and OpenBSD as well?

    Come on, admit it, that's not what most people who might want to buy a Vaio care about.

    I never made any claims about Jobs' predictions for the iPod. You mis-read my comments and asked for something unrelated to what I was talking about. To explain for the umpteenth time:

    You do seem to have some incredible problems with your vision and your temper. Your rage blinds you to the quote from Jobs sitting in your face and prompts you to invent claims that I've never made. Hell, you can't even mock my hyperbole correctly: I said a dozen times, not 20.

    I'd ask you to calm down, but I don't think I have the patience to wait that long. Maybe the reason is because nothing you have said made sense? Nah, that can't be it. Your claims were not based on realöity, but that is obviously my fault. Your made up claim that I said "the iPhone is just like the iPod" made you fantasize that "in which case it'll sell approximately 1/20th of what Jobs claimed it will in its first year" - now what could that mean? That the iPod didn't sell as well as Jobs said it would? So I asked you for Job's predictions of iPod sales - and you give me that for the iPhone.

    There sure as hell is someone with a reading problem - and he probably thinks I'm talking about banana cream pie by now.

    The waters around china are disgusting. If that isn't enough, zoom in over some of the larger cities and notice how brown they are... it is the smog And Smog isn't CO2. Smog is a local problem.

    And not that it's a good idea, but air polutioon actually fights Global Warming (see Global Dimming == Global Cooling).

    Oh my, what next? Gonna claim that volcanos produce more CO2 than humans? Okay, humans breath out ~ 1kg of CO2 a day, that's about 480,000,000 metric tons per year for the Chinese population. Less than 9% of US CO2 production.

    While I am sure that the US is still much higher per capita, it makes a lot more sense to worry about the consumption of CO2 production than it does the production itself, as it prevents nonsense like pretending that aluminum made elsewhere doesn't pollute. I'm not sure what you are getting at here, but which country is it again that imports all kind of stuff (including aluminum) from all over the world?
