    Has the decision just to do with consumer's interest or is it more related to sale of their viiv based products? Consumers won't buy PC based digital home theatres, if they won't be able to rip of their movies from the disks (HD-DVD or Blu-ray) and put it on their PC's hard disk.

    At least since 2002. Haven't had a problem with a single major site, including banks and financial institutions. I also wonder when the support for TLS 1.1 will be incorporated.

    The people behind the survey even garbled the numbers they got (besides the fact that the error margin is +/- 100%). If 12% = 33.6 million then 10% = 28 million and not 3 million!

    The ICC adopted a similar scheme some time ago, but it was to assist the umpires rather than replace them.

    they want to use these codes to replace addresses, instead of adding them on.
    A 10 digit code can pinpoint a location to a square metre. What happens when you live in a high rise building?
    Sure enough they have the flexibility to measure the distance from the center of the earth. But it would be a pain to that to measure how far above the center of the earth one's apartment is to ensure the correct delivery of the mail ?

    I bought a timex expedition watch on sale for $9.20 at target last fall. Has a digital compass and works fine! Don't see the point of spending $600 for this thing.
