  1. Re:Cheap capacitors? TRY Spacewalker MB's..4 crap on Taiwanese Capacitors Leaking, Exploding · · Score: 1

I'm just hoping Spacewalkers attorneys are reading this, because I'm sending a large FUCK-YOU! to your company.

The capacitor problem is present on EVERY shuttle board we've used. Mosre specifically, the AV-661 and the AV-61. We've had a near 50% failure rate over 2 years with a large school board District that we built the systems for. Thes boars came highly recommended, fairly affordable in quantity and purportedly of high quality. What toal pieces of shit...we figure before te end of the 3 year contract we have with the school board over 85% of the 3000+ systems running spacewalker *shuttle* boards will die. And Shuttles response? "We have NO idea waht you are talking about..." "No one else has reported a problem..."
Fuck You spacewalker, and fuck your gatorade filled caps too...

No one has suggested a life sized "Death Star" ride on your mansion property?? Your own multiscreen theatre in your house? No renting a few companies of Spetnatz commandos, squadron of MiGs, a few platoons of T80's, Airlift and logistics and take over a small 3rd world nation and call it Corusant and set yourself up as Emperor Palpatine the 1st? Fsuk the poor! in my land the poor would be just as ceushed under my iron heel as they ever previously, but I'd slash taxes, have American firms come into my land to exploit the population and pay me large amounts of cash, then tell Dubyah we were fully behind the
Hell, I'd buy the "Auryn" off of Steven Speilberg, have supermodels flown to my posh home, snort coke of their emaciated bodies and make them dress up as my favorite female characters from anime and do terrible things to them. *Of course, that'd mean dumping my gf for a "trophy whore" and getting myself a bigger entourage than Louis Farrakan or Puff Diddy* Did I mention having an OC3 or DS3 pipe and running the mother of all warez and pr0n servers?

I have no doubt money like that would completely corrupt me in mere moments....wow, my moral compass is spinning just thinking about it!

Use Doc Mercury's guide to DVD ripping. I knock out divx movies 650-700 MB that you'd be hard pressed to tell which was DVD and and not on a regular tv. Sure it takes longer, I run 2 passes on the encode, but do they look sweet! And they run quite well even on lowly celeron 500's..

If you can't get a sweet encode outta 700mb (1.75 hours or so of film) you must have no clue as to what you are doing on your encodes...

That seems like a simplistic view of things in the area in which I live there is a SIGNIFICANT arabic population, **Mod me down as troll if you must* and let me say this: from what I have seen here the term "arab-american" is at best oxymoronic, and Islam is a religon of peace and love like Christianity was during the Inquisition.

Fanatics of all stripes can only realistcally be dealt with in one satisfactory fashion, give them the death they so eagery seek. You cannot reason with a fanatic, you cannot seek an ameniable peace. And before some apologist whines "violence never solved anything" tell that to the Confederate States of America or the National German Workers Party, that is if you can find them.

I do see and agree with the painstakingly broken down points here. But I still remain kinna fuzzy on the whole concept of "intellectual property". But thats a whole 'nother discussion. Its obvious that people see "theft" and "copyright violation" as 2 totally different beasts. I think most people see that once a good or service is paid for, they can do with it as they please, since they "own" it, why can't they give it away or "share",as they still "own" their copy of it. No one has "stolen" from them. There is NO PERSONAL loss to the file holder, how can they hview it as "theft". I think thats the mindset many people have about file sharing though. Laws won't make a difference till you can change how most people view file sharing. And I am guilty of the same mindset myself...What will happen is a never ending war between sercured standards and the cracks to get around them, this has been ongoing. I really can't forsee an amicable solution to this problem in the near future.
