But seriously, the degree you get does NOT guarantee what you'll be doing...one of my profs has a CS degree but was a SE for Xerox...people get degrees in one field and go and do something related or even completly different anyway.
Also the school doesnt make a HUGE amount of difference, obviously if its from MIT or such it will be hugely valued. But I go to RIT (how many of you have even heard of that place) and graduates are very much in demand as well.
can't have multiple PCI-E cards without a special board. which is why I hate PCI-E standards...no ones going to allow more than 2 cards, if even. 16x slots are rare.
I work at the company that actually produces and writes the test (ETS) and there hasnt been a big hoopla about it...yet. I guess well have to see if everyone complely screwed it up or not.
On a related note, its a shame that its java. Java: the most useless language ever.
All computer companies inflate stats. Hell, ALL companies inflate stats (7 out of 10 doctors...95% success rate...etc). It's the game of Capitalism, and the winner takes all....
But yeh, nVidia did cheating and ATi did optimization. That being said, I have 3x more nVidia cards than ATi cards...because they were cheaper for faster. I only get ATi when I build computers for others however. GO CANANDA!

I saw this coming a mile away. Intel was being stubborn support RDRAM, but now that Rambus is a sinking ship, Intel is bailin' out!
On a related note, PC2100 still will make a P4 pale to a T-bird

Not everyone is simple enough to be amused by MMORPGs...we lose nothing. Have fun with your lack of a real life.
