    With the ideology in the Trump administration, H1B is on the chopping block.
    Do a FOIA from USCIS and you will see the truth.

    In Hillsboro over 30% of software programmers are guest workers. That is about 5% of the households in the area. With such a high concentration of H1B tech workers, that is increasing housing in the area displacing the retired, disabled and the working poor.

    In the Portland Oregon area, housing prices rose 20% last year. The poor and disabled in Beaverton and Hillsboro are getting squeezed out of the housing market. I have seen a HCL employee work 5 months on a L2 visa, then goes back to India for a month, come back to work for an other 5 months on a L2 visa.

    Our cell phone, Pokymon-go, high speed trading, Google searches, Amazon searches, tax checking by the IRS, all these things use AI now. Too support so many people on earth AI will need to be used even more.
