    Not just for individuals. If the banks control the equivalent to cash, they control liquidity. This was the main mechanism the banks used to put the squeeze on Greece. This is handing enormous power over to the banks and effectively privatising control over a large part of the economy.

    We only have to look at the track record of academies/charter schools in the UK and US to see how goddam awful the reality of these enterprises is.

    The USA is so powerful that it can ignore national and international law. It's illegal to deport or extradite anyone if they are likely to be tortured. The USA is a clear advocate for torture and has a track record of committing torture. This is not a legal problem. It's political.

    Agreed. Also consider that any information that can be digitized can be copied/forged. Using anything that you can't change whenever you suspect a password breach is idiotic.

    This is great marketing for VPN service providers. A horrible way to go about getting it but an effective way to get more people to surf anonymously. Perhaps in the not too distant future, all ISPs will come bundled with VPNs?

    Accenture, yes. A conflict of interest if ever there was one. Also, why would girls be drawn to working alongside boys and teachers who are mostly hostile and disparaging towards them? Not to mention the sexual abuse they may hear about or even experience later in life. Has anyone ever studied WHY girls have decided not to go into IT despite an interest?
