Ok, hear it straight from the kids mouth. We got a 46" TV in our basement. It has a V-Chip. My mom decides to block any thing above TV-14. IS SHE FLUXING STUPID?! Just unplug it. I wont deal with censorship. At school, I cant get on/. because its blocked. I got banned from the internat at the school because the teacher said i was trying to visit porno sites. NOT! I was visiting slashdot, hotmail, and the like of anybody's midday check during free period. I just sent the sites in and the fat moderator took the blocks right off because the blockheads who put them there were worried parents like mine. Now, at home there are no blocks because I'm in FreeBSD all the time and they dont know any UNIX. (or DOS for that matter)I don't need mom or dad to tell me not to do drugs, not to have unprotected sex, and what not. Im glad im not in Australia! I think Mr. Prez should stop trying to censor schools and libraries. (I'm at the library right now... Unfiltered. UPS is sooo slow.) Parents out there, most of us DONT need your help, and we WONT take the censoring.

Give them a chance! First off, I'm no suit (in fact i cant even get a job anywhere, I'm only 13),But it takes a while for everythng to get settled. you dont just go blow off $10,000 and then get a bunch of office clowns that just drink coke all day and dont find news. I'm surprised andover.net has even let them keep/. all to themselves and give them money and employees and the whole bit. Give it a few months. -TeChY
Woz on the Apple III side, not Apple II, He made the Apple III, that could operate as an Apple II, but it never worked out and flopped, and when the cops almost busted them, it was because their car broke down and the cops were offering help, the blue box didnt look like that, they told them it was a computer sound generator (and it was tiny and had no keys cept the tone key). He threw humongous parties before he quit, and i dont think he got his degree. Overall, a great movie (I loved the bulldozer part), but needs reworking
Nah, let him learn his own way, last year i was messing around with a exposed-connection lightbulb and well... connected the ends and the whole house went out and i had to go all around the house and turn everything off before the circuit breakers would let me switch them back. Not fun.
But then you pay your people. Then the people take that money and feed their ugly faces. I doubt a neuron needs money, maybe some kind of glucose or something to feed the cells. Im not no biologist so they can figure it out. That would be cool for AI... Buy a AI board and use that
I certianly hope, that if any of us live long ewnough to see Intel or AMD making biological computers that they are protected somehow. But i dont see my processor lasting for more than a few days on neuron juice =P
the kernel "panics" and tries to kill everything nicely and sync up but it well, never works right. It will dump core (on FreeBSD you can tell it where to dump it dunno bout Linux). Basically a kernel SIGFAULT.

Wrong! you can buy decoder boxes for your TV you NEVER needed a PC for it. And most new TVs, wide-screen or not can do widescreen for DVD.

heh. it took 3 years to get N64 emulation up to good speed playing commercial games. Someone would've figured it out by now.
