    22" widescreen 1080p here, and I don't feel the need nor do I want want to upgrade to anything better. I use Netflix at the lowest possible setting because it's good enough.

    There was still a physical phosphors count though. Everything else was, in digital terms, resampling.

    Don't be so sure that it's obvious. Even NASA themselves are comparing the International Space Station with the rotating space station from the movie 2001 even though the ISS doesn't rotate, which was the main obvious feature in the movie.

    The RIAA is safe, even the best commercial-grade 3D printers have nowhere near the ability to 3D-print a compact disc. So while pirated CD jewel cases are possible, the RIAA can still rip us off by mandating taxes on blank CDs via their preferred corrupted congressmen.

    3D printing is still a thing. Lathes, CNC routers and laser cutters are still a thing too.

    Same here. If the smartphone isn't compatible with my headphones then it only means I'm buying another smartphone instead.

    Can you imagine Macs not being compatible with non-Apple keyboard and mouse? Nobody would use a Mac, that mouse is crap.
