The big problem with Notepad++ is that it is not installed by default. I'm not downloading a package on someone else's machine just so I can edit a file. Updates to the default apps are a big deal for me, because I often don't have anything else.
They've been letting the DVD rental part attrition over the past few years. It's really sad. I've been getting lots of broken or badly scratched disks too.
My first thought was that this is a net loss for Netflix, but in practice the reviews have a disappointingly low signal to noise ratio. So many "Only watched 5 minutes before I turned this garbage off, worst movie ever!" in between the blatant shills calling it some kind of masterpiece and downvoting anyone who dared to point out that it's garbage. There is nothing so bad in the Netflix catalog that its first 10 reviews aren't all 5 stars and talking about how brave the director is for putting up 90 minutes of white noise interspersed with some irrelevant stock footage and how it got a standing ovation at their film festival.
So the regulators are just now waking up to the fact that this ICO explosion is almost entirely scams and money laundering? Are they going to take another two years to actually start prosecuting? This whole situation is completely ridiculous and the government has been sitting on the sidelines going "this is fine".
The problem with that emulator is that it emulates an entire phone screen, not just one app. There's no OS integration which makes for a terrible experience.
How hard would it be for Apple to include an iOS emulator for the Mac that could run regular iOS apps? Sure it's a different instruction set, but that's a long solved problem. They even have the big multitouch trackpad so you don't have to work too hard to emulate gestures. I'm pretty sure they already have this for developers, so it shouldn't be that hard, although I'd prefer it if they put in a little effort to make it seamless on the desktop. You could install an iOS app just the same as a regular Mac app and launch them with double clicks just like you would with any app. I bet it would see a reasonable amount of usage.
Demonitization hits way more than just the game streamers and PewDiePie clones. Slingshot Channel, AvE, and many others have been hit. Most end up creating Patreon pages to try to compensate, but that's only half a solution.
Which they are totally doing, even if the company won't admit it for legal reasons.
It's really no wonder these people are stressed, they've been watching the demonetization line creep up and up over the past couple of years and know that it's only a matter of time until theyr'e effectively out of a job. They've been working themselves to death to try to keep the subscriber and hour counts up but it's literally killing them.
It's questionable that laws against mixed race marriages would be unconstitutional. The Constitution doesn't talk about marriage at all. It's not clear that today's Supreme Court would rule in the same way.
Checks and balances is such an outdated system that we can just forget it exists. Whatever Congress or the President decrees is the law, no exceptions.
What's the alternative though? It's clear that when unions aren't present then employees get shit on. Government is an unreliable partner in this, especially as companies are growing larger than governments and work on a worldwide basis. The US government won't do anything about Nike running sweatshops in Malaysia, and this gives them the power to shop around for governments with the most permissive labor laws and restrictive union laws. People don't exist to enrich corporations.
Without unions the balance of power between workers and management is strongly tilted in favor of management, and this inevitably leads to worker abuse. Of all of the things that investors reward on the market, treating workers fairly is not one of them. In fact they will punish companies that don't make every effort to control costs.
The irony is that this sort of feedback loop is how capitalism collapses. Money constantly moves upward until the majority of the people have no money and the economy grinds to a halt. Money needs to flow against the stream back down to the bottom to keep the economy running.

Wait, nevermind, it's 15%. Still surprisingly low.

Wow, less than 1% of Steam users have AMD cards? That seems hard to believe given how much OEMs love AMD.

Please continue to buy our 10xx series cards. Do not wait for the next generation, and definitely don't wait for AMD's next release.

So the message to the theatre chains and studios is clear: more gimmicks and higher prices.
You're basically arguing the same thing I am. A strict constructionist court would find all of that to be true.
That's a very broad view of the 14th.
I thought he was nominated to reverse Roe v. Wade?
Oh yeah, I'm sure this Congress or Supreme Court is going to rule against arbitration...

Because your gripe is sent to the arbitration "court", paid for by the company you have a complaint against. Shockingly they find against you.
Neil Gorsuch: Fuck checks and balances. Not our job.

Aren't the German automakers highly unionized as well? Blaming GMs woes exclusively on the UAW seems a bit narrow sighted.
Excel macros are a bit of a minefield, but you can try enabling them in OpenOffice if you are feeling brave.
I take it OpenOffice Data Pivots are insufficient?
