As a die hard baseball fan and dedicated couch athlete, I can confirm that 100% of the 30/30 series has made me cry at some point.

  2. Frontier Communications on Ask Slashdot: ISPs That Respect Your Online Privacy? · · Score: 1

I was actually pleasantly surprised. This article made me contact Frontier to see if my ISP was doing anything lame. Turns out they do not throttle anything, but they do prioritize for VOIP and VIDEO because they have higher packet loss possibilities. They also do not monitor or sale any user information. So I guess frontier is pretty good. I pay $64.99 for a 100/100 fiber connection.

  3. They don't have to be directly connected to the internet. They just have to have a shitty network admin that didnt close 445 on the firewall and didnt patch windows.

  4. Depends on the industry and work environment on Slashdot Asks: Should an Employee Be Fired For Working On Personal Side Projects During Office Hours? (quora.com) · · Score: 5, Interesting

I for instance work for the government in IT and during holidays when the non 12 monthers are out, I am basically a paper weight at my desk all day. So I take online classes, work on a few outside client minor jobs, Test and run random network crap remotely from my house or just read a bunch of sports websites. I mean what is the difference between working on a side job or doing nothing at all while I have nothing to do?

First of all your math is terribly wrong. His yearly salary is $500k. So it would be ((494,585-20,000) / 7,100,000,000) which is 0.00007 (I think, I am not math).... Also, I am using his salary as the CEO as a arguing point toward the obvious greed that these companies live on. This company also has 5 board of directors that make a combined salary close to a million. So while millions of people suffer financial hardships on top of the physical pain, these 6 people among the thousands that make money from this company, thrive financially.

  8. 1) Doesnt qualify him to be president 2) He has also ruined many businesses... Also doesnt qualify him to be president 3) Only because America is full of idiots 4) Probably not a qualification for president...? 5) He has been married 3 times so far. That to me says that he is not that great at family stuff. Me: 1) Not a billionaire, but I work for the government. So I live comfortably and dont do shit. 2) 1 successful business venture that I gave up so I could stop doing shit. 3) would never want that job 4) 9 is multiple, so Im doing OK. 5) medium sized family with only 1 marriage. All happy and loving life. Id rather be me to be honest.

So the people that need the medicine are dying, or going into absurd debt, or paying out of their ass for this medicine. All while the CEO of the company gets a $250k bonus and makes $500k/year....
