You don't recall $99 movies on Video Tape, do you? I recall those days. Got the movie, too. It wasn't until they started sticking commercials on the tape that prices came down.
So someone else is paying for your cheap DVD/Tape.
Not that I don't mind giving Master Mickey and his Manical Cohorts and wedgie....
This is the nice kind of vaporware. After all, if we don't have to detonate them, and can expirment with newer designs without building any, there's no loss.
And if you don't have to have them around, there's no risk of them wandering off.
Way to be on top of the news, guys! Woah... this story is like, a few days old already!

With an outstanding effort, the author goes for the gold and stuffs one paragraph with so many acronyms and abbreviations, it makes it barely readable!
Wow... I'm amazed Intel hasn't done this yet. Surely AMD will rule the planet now.
*sigh* Seriously, AMD just kissed it's future good-bye. Dead in two years, tops. They're already cutting prices too thin, and what with the entire sector dumping jobs like crazy, AMD could be facing the last roundup. I'm sure it's already packed for the trip, with this little stupid stunt.

Sounds good to me, sad that they aren't going to at least try for some better 3D.

I'm trying to figure out how the knowledge of where I am (or might be) detracts from the wonder of getting there.
Tell you what. YOU get lost. I'll whip out the GPS and find my way back, thank you.:)

Yeah, Like I just passed 3 years. Installed it right after it came out. No reinstalls. And I've installed a ton of non-MS software that was crappy. I do have Office 97, mainly because I use Word, and the wife uses Powerpoint for work.
I hated Outlook Express from the beginning. Only within the past 18 months I switched over to IE full time. -----------------------------

It is absolutley required. I'm the father of two kids (4 and 3) and it was required. Sorry to burst the old bubble there.
Doesn't look like this is friendly crowd for flash questions...
...always bet on greed as being a prime factor. Not that I don't blame them if they aren't getting a cut of the sales in any case.
Authors aren't fond of second-hand book stores, since it does deprive them of sales when one could go buy a shiny new copy.

You can have it, we're finished playing with it by now. :)
Are you sure the brain damage was *after* they yanked stuff out?

Isn't that swell? Maybe in a few decades they'll get around to actually punishing Microsoft?
Some people just aren't happy unless they start an arguement.
So don't complain when you have to pay to sing "Jingle Bells" next year.

Well, now see, that's useful information. If you can trust any of them to tell the truth on resumes...

So, genius, where do I sign up for the alternative cable modem ISP provider? Guess what, there isn't one.

Not! I think this one has been out over a week or two. Geez.

I'd let them know the computer stays in a public area, and I'm liable to watch everything they do.
And then sit down and watch them.

More Preaching to the Choir. Why doesn't he take this act on the road? We all know Microsloth is evil.

Just to relieve your mind a bit, I'm well trained in traditional orinteering. I know my way around a good map and compass.

I just think GPS's are cool.
