    No, it's AC that comes out of an American Standard Outlet. :) Edison _lost_ that one. Tesla and a guy named George Westinghouse championed AC, and won because it was superior.

    I'm not sure about Canada, but couldn't they be sued if someone leaves a bar soaked like a sponge, hits a busload of kids and kills most of them? Knowing how we are south of that border, it sounds like an attempt to cut down on that. You'd know it wasn't a good idea to serve Joe if he'd been to several bars.

    I don't know why people get all huffy when someone suggests that women might be different from men. There are clear biological differences, adaptations for certain roles. Certain definitions of intelligence clearly favor men.
    I can't believe you seriously espouse this sloppy, bigoted thinking. To think that people are "adapted" for certain roles is similiar to the days when "englightened" thinkers were certain that African-Americans were incapiable of intelligence. Please don't make the mistake of calling yourself intelligent in the future, okay?

    Understand, this is neither a good nor a bad thing in the moral/ethical sense. In the world of business, there is no right and wrong in the moral sense, only "right" as in following the law and making money.
