Here in my own county of San Diego there are lots of reminders in the various cities to only water lawns on certain days or prohibitions against washing cars in driveways, and the like. But, one never hears anything from the county... There aren't even any regulations regarding water usage, outside of a few rural water districts, that I'm aware of.
