Question: "Do you enjoy using Javascript in your approach to desktop web applications?"
Answer: "Yes."
Statement: "We thought you might say that. We're tired of 'Javascript' being the reason for our software being late, and buggy."
Rebuttal: "Uh, but, wait, it depends on, no, really, huh? What just happened?"
To your footer: "Debt is slavery".... Technical debt is also slavery..when you user Open Source, and its not cool anymore, congratulations, its a boy! Now its up to you to own it, and love it, and call it George.
Its dumping. Its applying 3rd party money (Amazon's) to push a price down to allow a seller or subset of sellers to dominate a market (for an item).

I'm glad my buddy DJ in Southeast Oklahoma busts his ass to cut firewood and feed people's cows, fix fences, do brush and tractor work so he can ship money off to "poor" people in the SF BA via his tax return. I'll make sure to call him on his feature phone in the land of zero data bars to tell him this. Maybe y'all will be able to hear his head explode from the coasts. I'll call at noon Central time tomorrow, let's see if the call gets through.
Business doesn't have a lot to do with computers, since they don't buy software or services.
Business is about customers, and all the trouble (and treasure) that goes with them, because trouble is your business. You reduce or eliminate trouble. I guarantee the Amazon dash button brings more joy to people than a white paper on multi-core-optimized Red/Black algorithms.
Study business from the inside out...beware of business books--its the same trap as reading a dozen software patterns books. I've personally seen the insides of a company that went public with a bunch of bash and BAT scripts. Its a thing. "The best one doesn't usually win" and all that.
Write software, sure Get into a startup, and work your way up. I used to load tapes and restore user directories and files...yeah, basically I was a human Arcadia backup or Time Machine. It takes years, and you gotta make diagonal moves. Don't hang out in-place for 10+ years...you can only do that twice. If you resent the Marketing people going home at 5pm, you should wonder "why" not "why them".
Remember this: you can't program for a living after 45 easily...but you can be an "owner" or "investor" until you're 79 and nutty.
