There's homelessness in Fort McMurray. I have no fucking idea how or why. I saw a guy outside of a corner store open a beer. The next day when I returned, the bottle was still there, but the beer frozen out the top. I don't think he made it past the neck before it froze. It was around - 40 degrees.
What country is that? In both US and Canada, my experience is the more valuable you are, the more benefits you get. The company would say health benefits kick in after 3 months probation and start with the legal minimum of two weeks vacation a year, but good developers and engineers would start with 3-5 weeks annual vacation or benefits start immediately.
You're confusing us with "buy back". It just sounds like they take a small bit of money each week that will eventually add up to a whole week of vacation that you still get a paycheck for. In other words, normal vacation pay.
I've never heard this before about special privilege. Never. Who exactly is going to complain? The slower students who can now not feel as dumb and get further help when needed or the gifted student who wasn't being challenged? It's usually for social reasons when skipping grades.
My middle and high school and many others split classes into difficulty levels when there's enough students. Two people can be in grade 10 and one does regular math and another do advanced grade 11. You can graduate early since you can satisfy graduatation requirements earlier.
I've seen it a number of times, shitty employees put up with this because they don't want any light shed on them. Or they just don't know what the fuck proper hygiene is.
In manufacturing, I'd see 2-3 competent people run the floor, and a dozen people who would stand around and need to be told every fucking thing. The competent people get promoted, leaving just shitty people. Then some new person gets hired and again, bests the shitty dozen.
If it takes you 50% longer to do your job than the person next to you, you should be fired. Whenever I hear of people working 50+ hours a week (and not getting paid overtime) more than once or twice are just hiding the fact they're not capable of doing the job.
The other year when I was at a contract manufacturer, I was there to setup test laptops for programming the devices. The employees would operate slowly, forcing overtime (part covered by us, part eaten by the company) because they fucked up so often and needed rebuild and repairs, not counting damaged components. It drove us nuts how much they chatted mindlessly instead of concentrating on doing their fucking jobs.
Companies need a way to weed out shitty workers. If companies don't meet the labour laws, complain to the government. If there's no labour laws to protect you, fucking make them.
Having worked with a company that bought a Sequins SDK for a small chunk of change, they pretty much damaged all of our opinions of French companies. What they claimed and what they delivered was vastly different. Support was hot garbage. We've dealt with Poland, Germany, India, China, and Mexico, and everyone was wondering what the fuck is wrong with the French. They're just fucking clueless and arrogant.
For me, Costco is cheapest, but requires 20 minute drive each way, parking hassle, 10 minute lineups, 2-24 hour wait for prescription fill. Due to the high wait time, usually means two trips. One time when I was in a lot of pain and hurt to stand and Costco had a fill time of next day, the missus said something like "it's best to fill prescriptions a few days in advance so you're not waiting like this". If they weren't the cheapest, I would have had strong words several times I had to wait longer than ETA they provided.
Next cheapest option. Real Canadian Superstore is closer, easier parking, less lineups, and 20-45 fill time. About 8-10% more expensive.
Then you have someone like Safeway, no lineups and fill time is 5 minutes. But you paid like 25% more than Costco. At $300-$500 every 3 months, that adds up.
I'll take the Costco like price delivered to my door for $200, Alex. If Amazon bought the company that prepackaged the daily pills into blister packs for seniors, Amazon would bring another full time cash printer into operation just printing money.
Some things you need within hours of seeing a doctor. Other things, like Metformin or other long standing prescriptions, Amazon would be awesome.
I imagine the laws that requires pharmacists to speak with the user is likely a showstopper for Amazon delivered drugs.
Not sure if you were serious or just didn't know. Microsoft sells rPi's in their store along with an SD loaded with some sort of Windows IoT development image. One of my first rPi's were from Microsoft below their cost.
To play your game, the same feeling is achieved without opioids, just not the super high level achieved through opioids.
As for methadone, isn't that meeting the body's dependency on opioids without the high feeling? So, the opposite of your point?
I got the point. Given the debate on food, what is healthy weight, appropriate diet, false studies and doctors on the take, etc? This system is grossly full of misinformation and wrong.
Why the fuck would we do more labels and more dictation of "normal" for something that will get used differently by each person?
There's already well established definitions for addiction. Don't be an asshat with even more fucking labels. The kids these days hate fucking labels, they'll make up another gender just to fuck with you.
I think this is irony. You fail to understand his point just like the tech guys. Comey sees them as helping the scum of the earth, not protecting some privacy of innocent Americans. This is still all with warrants and shit and not wide open keys handed over.
If you want to be a hardcore douche because he said "drove me crazy", you'll need to have words with just about every fucking parent, teacher, or fill-in-the-blank that said those words.
Yes, because they rarely get to advertise when shit goes right and legitimate bad guys are stopped. I guarantee he sees shit everyday when dealing with scum of the earth and bet he's really proud when fuckfaces are caught and attacks prevented.
Not exactly. First, Apple took the stance they couldn't break their own stuff. When pushed, they said it would take too much resources. Pushed again for an estimate of work and cost, they provided it. I forget the details now (something like 6 weeks for a dedicated team), but it seemed a little padded but reasonable (our project manager is good and always gives us some buffer room to deliver early). They whined it was a draw on their top talent. Despite the costs of full time top talent, it's a fucking drop in the bucket compared to some other defence costs. To me, I thought this was bad move by Apple as now Apple is ensuring their products will never be secure. Apple just enabled an industry that will profit from weakening Apple's security. Greykey guys must love Cooke dropping the ball so hard for them to pick it up and slam dunk that shit.
Why lie and lose credibility and lose the point you were trying to make? You were so close.

The US gave tactical support when Iraq gassed Iran, but Iraq made them themselves. It could be argued this same situation is happening with Russia and Syria now.
You motherfuckers don't even work the summer!
So what are the motherfucking laws for EVERYONE, not just a negotiated number that varies from state to state. I think that was their point.
The kids were loving Iceberg Beer on my last Mexican vacation.
Lower Mainland, BC ftw. 2-3 days of snow, 150 days of rain and the rest sun. You don't have to shovel rain.

At least you don't become the scapegoat.

Reading fail x2.

What the fuck? What is this logic? TFS is basically saying Amazon can't convince hospitals to cut out the middle men to go right to the manufacturers.
If you bought from Marketplace instead of from Amazon, you're a fucking idiot who can't be stopped from doing stupid things.

You should probably seek help for your problem. Maybe even just smoke a joint and chill out.
