    The question is why they report only about price and not technological development? I think we need more stories about crypto but much less about its price.

    no because tech is highly correlated with the broader stock market - also nvidia is not creating anything worth mentioning like crypto - changing how the society works or uses money.

    Yes, blockchains are a comparable invention to Internet and current websites. Many will fail but the tech and Bitcoin is here to stay.

    Nope, Bitcoin cannot be shut down. It can be made a pain to use but that's all. Do you think anybody cares if it is legal on the dark markets? Also shutting it in one country will just make another country economically benefit from it more.

    No, Bitcoin doesn't need or care about governments. If you are willing to pay taxes you can just sell for fiat and pay the government. Bitcoin is bigger than a single government - it will be here no matter what. Even the price per BTC doesn't matter - you can use it if it's worth $1 or $100.

    why would a solar storm be such a threat? is it a whole planet at once thing? also even without internet for a while - the miners who will continue to work on mining will present the longest chain of blocks when the internet comes online and other miners and users will start to use that and crypto can continue unaffected with just a big hiccup. if internet never comes back online - i think we have bigger problems than crypto to worry about. also did you know there is a satellite broadcasting Bitcoin blockchain?
