For some reason all the computers in labs on our Novell network would reboot when they received a net msg. As soon as the sysadmin saw that, he deleted all copies for the 'send' executable from the network to prevent this from happening. We wrote a program to mimic the 'send' command, but that was a little boring after the first few times, so we moved on to phase 2.
The network servers were configured to send out a message to everyone connected to it when one of its public shares was nearing capacity. We wrote a program to fill up one of the smaller network drives, causing the server to msg everyone logged in to that server, causing all the computers in all the labs across the school to reboot. The powers that were were not amused, but we were.
Vote for the people I think will spend it wisely, and pray that they do.
Have you ever been to a country that isn't run on taxes? I have, and ever since I've been grateful for them. I'm sure much of our taxes is ill-spent, but that's not an implementation problem, not a design problem.
The sad part is, even with a fair judge, CleanFlicks is dead as a company.
Luckily, for those of us who actually enjoy watching "half a movie" (yes, I have an account at Clean Flicks), there are alternatives popping up. Thanks to our capitalist economy, other stores have already seen the killing Clean Flicks is making on these movies, and are jumping into it.
The argument that viewing child porn would cause someone to become or indicate that they are a pedophile is as logically invalid as the claim that watching porn would indicate or induce some sort of sexual deviance.
What would you call it, if not a "sexual deviance?" Surely it is a departure "from an established course."
Suddenly we'd find that this material our society strongly condems prevents a much worse situation.
This is an interesting idea, but a wrong one. Pornography can better be compared to drinking salt water; your thirst is quenched for a moment, but essentially all you have done is worsened it. The growing thirst causes one to find greater means of quenching it, causing a greater thirst... It is a cruel cycle, and a thirst that cannot be quenched by continued drinking. We do no favor by giving more poison to he that drinks it.

Wow, it takes some real dedication to misspell words out loud.
What are you going to do about it?

God is allowed to kill people. People aren't.
