I guarantee there will be some sort of deposit required or a clause that they can charge your credit card $100 if you dont return the camera in a certain time period.
As for Dell, near-enough the only corporate supplier, good luck getting anything without WindowsXP pro. Even if you can find redhat, they'll still charge you for the windows license.
If you can live without an AGP slot you can purchase a server or workstation from all of the major oem's without the windows tax.
The price of these machines are incredibly low these days (never thought I'd say that).
Last time I checked Canon doesn't sue 3rd party competitors & uses a seperate tank for each color (less waste) & doesn't throw around the DMCA & tells you to check your ink level by LOOKING AT THE CARTRIDGE (as it should be).
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from my recent research I found Canon to be the most reasonable (yes, I hated them as much as everyone else 5 years ago).
Throw a frog into a pot of boiling water and he'll jump right out. However, if you immerse him into a pot of cool comfortable water, he will remain there. After that, you slowly raise the temperature of the water a degree at a time allowing the frog to acclimate at a comfortable pace. Over time, the frog will continue to thin the water is fine even though it has been slowly raised to the boiling point.
The interesting thing is, I've recently have had to start learning Java / JSP / PL/SQL / Oracle. Documentation is a nightmare. There just doesn't seem to be one end all be all on stop shop for my Java documentation needs, there's about 20 relevant manuals that I need to sift through to find out one thing, and there's about 20 different ways to implement your site. Ok are we going to build our own tag libraries, conform to J2EE, use java beans, just do straight jsp, on what classes should we make and for what? What stuff should be stored in PL/SQL, etc etc etc. It's crazy.
That's because they want you to attend the $3000+ per week training courses + pay for certifications + buy many books.
I strongly believe that the training business behind proprietary software generates much more income than the actual software itself.
If you get a contract with Verizon, and you choose the Motorola T720, the phone executes BREW only.
If you get a contract with AT&T, and you choose the Motorola T720, the phone executes J2ME only.
I've had my T720 from Verizon about a month now, too late to return it and cancel my account. I'd love to develop my own apps and share them with the community but because I chose Verizon it looks like I'm SOL:(

Isn't this just a semi-gentle way of easing the public into TIA?
Why ten years?
Don't like it, don't fly their airline.
What if ALL airlines take this approach?
What does their lack of tighness have to do with anything?

What was the name of the apartment complex that Peter lived in?
The sad thing is I was the only person in the theater that caught it and understood the joke.
P.T. Barnum's quote is "There's a sucker born every minute."
Actually, that's not true either.

I care, I'm a tetris junkie and I dont want to lug around a GBA or PDA for that when I already have a very capable cell phone.
