It's not just Citibank, my Wells Fargo cards won't do PIN transactions in the UK either. I've been informed that one can still withdraw cash on a Visa card by going into a bank and doing a cash advance. Ironically, most of the ID-anal-retentive UK banks require 2 forms of photo ID, one being a passport and one being a UK driving license, which doesn't help us foreigners. HSBC only needed a passport and any second form of photo ID. It has been difficult enough trying to do purchases on a non chip-n-pin card. Retailers seem to forget that if a card doesn't have a chip, like a foreign card, you can still swipe it.
Spend a day in the park or at the beach. Don't go hiking or do anything too strenous. Avoid movies at all costs unless its preceeded by a nice, informal dinner or followed by a cup of coffee and intellectual conversation. End the night with a walk through the park during the twilight hours. If it rains, bring a trenchcoat and umbrella. Rain adds a nice serene effect. Don't go through any given park after 9 PM unless you're packing. If you find yourself going out to dinner frequently, a nice change to make the occasion special is definately called for.

Really big gun. Or in this case, really big knife.
Uh... friends? Bars? T.V.? Beer?
My Athlon 1.3ghz was having issues too w/ frames on Xp Pro. Upgrading the priority of quicktime helped.

And always bring some kind of gift.
