to saddle up - sure, that's a verb - but 'saddle up' isn't a noun so I don't see a parallel.
to reign / reign in - same again
'to frame a question' is an idiom, and has no parallel again
'to coin a phrase' is another idiom
'to shoot' is an ordinary English verb and has no parallel with the 'to chassis' issue again
'punked out' must be colloquial American English, it means nothing to me or my dictionary, same with your use of 'scabbed' - in English, 'scab' is the natural cover over a healing wound or a strike breaker, I never known it used in the sense you describe.
All that aside, just because YOU use 'chassis' as a verb doesn't make it one, it just means you have poor English skills and cannot properly form sensible statements.
I just read your pdf and, interesting though it was, what was described was the first AUTOMATIC (ie operator-less) radio telephone system, not the first CELLULAR radio telephone system.
Mind you, Americans always says they invented things first, so it could well be that the Slashdot story's a load of bollox...
are yu sure that's a CELLULAR phone network ather than just an old fashioned RADIO phone system? Radio telephones were available in the 50s in the UK too...
as for me, my first phone was a Sony CMH 333 (Mars Bar) which I think I got in '90 or '91 - though my father had a SIMPLEX TACS Motorola car phone several years before that. I now use a Nokia 8910 - it having just displaced my old Ericsson T-28s because Ercsson don't make gorgeous phones anymore with covered keypads, whereas Nokia do...
well, speaking as a long time Mac user, IE was HUGELY inferior to Netscape up until IE5, which was a genuinely GOOD browser. MS' current Mac IE is, however, a total fucking joke - NS7 is actually significantly better (unless your criteria for a good browser is how well it deals with sites coded SPECIFICALLY for IE, of course).
I may even SUPPORT the murder of innocents in the pursuit of Bush's re-election. But the coalition weaponry most certainly IS killing the babies, children, men and women of Iraq. That's what weapons do.
I don't own an iBook - but why not do some tests for yourself and see whether the 867Mhz G4 beats the 800Mhz G3 - youm may be surprised at the results. As far as MP3 ripping is concerned - your Altivec advantage is squandered by the PowerBook coz of it's slow reading drive. The Shara G3 is a very nice chip, Apple has been holding it back for too long, and it's the Apple portable users who are suffering.
that post makes no sense whatsoever. The G4 can't use the full bandwidth of the DDR RAM, but the other components that access the RAM can MORE FULLY saturate the RAMs bandwidth thanks to the new "controller chip". Either way, the G4 only has 256KB of L3 cache where the iBook's G3 has 512KB - and that's the main reason why the iBook is faster.
ALOT?
fuck off
modifier keys are NOT essential, but neither is a fucking keyboard
if the world was run by people like you we'd all still be cavorting with druids and eating dung for dinner.
Brass scissors, actually. And only retarded luddites still do it that way
DUAL
that's:-
YOU'RE
and
LOSER
fucknut
yeah, THAT makes a lot of sense - everything that's connected to the internet should now be capable of handling the typical load of news.bbc.co.uk?
THEIR
you remember incorrectly
why the fuck would Apple have a file extension?
have you EVER used a pre-OSX Mac?
PNG and LWF - though Lurawave is proprietary
I've never seen Jeopardy in my life.
As to your examples:-

to reign / reign in - same again

nah, he'd have had to have been some kind of cunt to say THAT
but MOST IMPORTANTLY OF ALL, you'll need MS Windows, MS IE and an MS Passport to use it!
Long live MS!

silence, perhaps?
ahh - Victoria High Quality. The only thing that she needs is a gentle stroking of her speed control to bring her up to English pace.

Does Apple spend ANY money on TTS any more, or is this yet another case of Apple Tortoise and Hare a la Newton?
who said I was left wing?
