Instead of rerecording 'clean' versions of their songs they should use their creative abilities to make fun of censorship.

I like what Nirvana did with Nevermind. Apparently some nut jobs were offended by seeing a naked baby in a swimming pool and they wanted the album cover censored. Kurt Cobain said "Sure, but only if there is a small stick over the baby's penis that says 'If this offends you, you are a closet pedophile.'" The cover remained intact.

It takes infinite amount of energy to accelerate something to the speed of light. It's theoretically possible for something to travel faster than light if it somehow had just popped into existence at that speed (How that would happen I have no idea).

As for Cherenkov radiation, the speed of light is only constant inside a vacuum.

The first link shows that 1,4 dioxane is a known carcinogen in animals and a probable carcinogen in humans. The second link shows that sodium laureth sulfate (SLS) is in many beauty products because it makes a nice foamy lather and that it has been shown to be contaminated with 1,4 dioxane. If you want to know if SLS is used in shampoos, just go to your grocery store and look at the labels, or just do a 3 second google search.

I'm sure you can find many other references to this, it's pretty well known.

A closer example would probably be John Carmack. He has most the traits you mentioned, but on top of that you don't ever really see him as politically active and instead pours a good deal of the money he makes straight back into developing new technologies.

It's not a hard stretch to say that Romero is like Peter Keating either.

But in any case, I'm sure most people would be offended to be compared to any of Rand's one dimensional characters.

How many motorcade parades do you see for construction workers that get hit by cars while building the roads you drive on?

"if society has a problem with their cops, society needs to look at it's own attitude towards the profession as the culprit, not the actual cops themselves"

That is an insane statement. Replace the word 'cops' with 'lawyers', would it still be valid?
