I agree, there are better alternatives available right now. For example, Capstone MicroTurbine last week announced the first megawatt microTurbine generator. Very interesting technology that this company is putting out.
I worked in tech support for a small business (about 30 employees) that decided to change everything from Apple Macs to PC based computers, and I repeated myself on everything. The employees only used Office applications and sometimes surfed the net, but some how they all had the same questions and problems at the same time.
The solution was making "HOWTOs" for every call that was made, and putting it somewhere where they all could read it (a hot link on their desktops). And I mean every call; otherwise, you will find yourself describing what the little icon at the bottom left is all about 30/day.
I have been toying with the idea of making my own processor for my senior project. Of course, I can only do this in an architecture formant never be able to physically implement it. First, I tried it with a so-called "simpletron" with c++. Now with these new tools I could finish this project.
I didn't get a 'harrumph' out of that guy!
Give the governor harrumph!
Harrumph!
You watch your ass.
Keep up the good work. It can only get better from here.

I don't know about anyone else, but when you can record the Simpsons any time any where it's a good thing. I'm watching them right now.
