That's overly simplistic. The vast majority of people have a certain belief system, but that doesn't mean they let it govern their lives. Most do believe in evolution. Most don't believe the Earth is 4000 years old. Is it contradictory? Of course, but so what. It doesn't matter if it is because it fills the gap for the only real question that matters for many people. What happens when you die.

Once they've been caught. Fluke being one of the major names in meters they absolutely knew what they were doing in choosing that color. They were hoping the color recognition would help sell units. It was part of this companies marketing strategy. Make a meter that people will think 'its like a Fluke' when they look at it. Which is exactly why it's trademarked. Now I will agree trademarks in general are silly, but for these guys to plead naive is also.

  18. Wow on Religion Is Good For Your Brain · · Score: 1

So you're saying that people in the last 20 or so years of their lives who believe that once they die it is all over, and are coming to the realization that the minuscule amount of time they spent on this Earth means nothing, are more stressed than those who may hold the belief that maybe, just maybe there is something else? Shocking. I'll also say that you will see a trend of people who have claimed for a good part of their lives are atheist (in reality they are agnostic) actually find themselves peering over the edge of the abyss as they get older and in some form start to find God.
