Grin, at least I got a good laugh out of this. "anything, excepting the few heroes of the revolution that have their own roach filled apartments and must give blow jobs in parks monthly" I'm thinking this guy was one of the roaches. :-P Or maybe somebody that paid for the blowjobs? Oh, by the way, my boss is curious as to why I have to give blowjobs to pay the rent.. I think that most of the "cells" you speak of probably make 6 figures, easily. I do.

I agree.. Microsoft is *not* pure evil..

Okay, maybe their marketing department is, but the coders/development depts. are not.

"... IBM. Most likely just a poor implementation...." Why is it assumed that any other companys software is more secure that Microsofts? Trust me, a good bit of IBM's mainframe DBMS is just not even remotely close to secure..

I agree.. As soon as a large body (i.e. the gov't) is stupid enough to agree on one standard, it *will* be cracked.. Remember, there is no such beast as absolute security. If someone wants in bad enough, they will get in. Period.

This is really, really starting to get on my nerves..... I cannot see the point of ripping music FROM A CD at higher than CD QUALITY (128 kbps). Unless I'm missing something, isn't it totally pointless to do so?

What in the hell is going on with slashdot? Where are all these maniacs/morons coming from? Dear lord, maybe it's time to implement something similar to a log-in required for posting.

What? The java version took nearly twice as long! I think it's evident that as the complexity of the equation increases, java's computional speed decreases. :-P

Having used FrontPage somewhere in a dark past, I can qualify that - you can use FP to design whatever type of site you like, just don't use the "web components" (lol) in any manner that MS doesn't agree with.
