  1. Good God, not more bugs on Vista Could Ship Earlier Than Expected · · Score: 0

That's all I need is another editor out with some microsoft problem because of a hasty release. Do you know how many hours we've lost in production because of viruses? I presonally don't run windows--I refuse to. I have freelance editors who refuse to run anything else and then have problems because of software holes and virus problems. I'm sick of it! From now on, all my editors get Mac OSX boxes. I'm done with allowing people in my company to use windows.

To add a device that is only compatible with windows. tsk tsk shame on them. It will probably stink any way and crash - we'll call it - the little blue screen of death. Rebecca onlymacintosh.com

See what happens when you allow a software company to run a tv station? They promote their own garbage. They do not give credit to other OSs and machines. I say everyone write to NBC, MSNBC, and your friendly people who work for you (yeah right) in DC and tell them how microsuck is doing it again and how their business is bad news, espeically since it's doing everything in it's power to use it's tv station to do other companies harm. It's kind of like that company on robocop... The city that was owned by a corporation and everything made was owned by that city. Well, that's microsuck.

If comanies would stop charging so much for software, people would be less likely to copy it. I still have my os9 apps, why? because I can't afford $700 to upgrade my adobe software. so i run os9 and osx. bill gates might be sleazeball and leach but unfortunately he is not an idiot. people should learn to think again and buy with their brains, not their gut marketing instinct. then again they've had the gov'ment thinking for them for so long that they have no clue. these people deserve windows.

I used it in Cupertino, Sunnyvale, San Ramon and Pleasanton and LOVED it! Now we live in Wisconsin but if I lived in the Bay Area again, I'd use Ricochet. My Ricochet connection was ALWAYS up. Can't say that for my cable connection.

Ricochet was never really for the desktop. I went out by the pool and worked while my kids went swimming. I worked while at the hospital and chatted with my friends while I was waiting for my prescription. There's nothing wrong with Ricochet. Maybe it's the area you live in.

  14. XBOX takes over the Home on Xbox Sequel Rumors · · Score: 1

A story by theladyboo One day I came home from work. Normally my M$ XBOX turns on the lights for me and starts the oven at around 5 pm before I get home so I can just pop in that wonderful leftover pizza from the night before. That night, however, I walked into my house and xbox did not turn on the lights. It did not turn on my oven either. I went into the kitchen to turn on the oven but someone was standing behind the door. He hit me over the head with my stone cold pizza and knocked me out. I awoke fifteen minutes later only to find some M$ executive and a crook standing over me. I couldn't talk but they spoke for me. "I hired this hacker" The suit began "because I wanted to learn how to get into people's houses to see what they were doing with out technology. Then he told me I didn't need to actually get in. He showed me how to use all my devices with our cool plug and play and how I can control everything. But you wonder why I'm here? I found out you were using linux and since I own the goverment and this was illegal I came over to show you a lesson. Because I can... I can get into your home, and so can Bob." I faded off to never never land and found out that M$ now owned the spiritworld too.
