Wow....what DID we do as a society before laptops? How did we survive? Thousands of people wandering the earth searching for the perfect gizmo to fly AND work. None available? How primitive. I'm surprised that we, as a society, made it into the 21st century without people being able to take their gizmos with them everywhere they go. Sheesh.

I'm not so sure. With all the enforcement agencies out there (local police, county sheriffs, state police, FBI, DEA, CIA, ATF, NSA, etc....) whose to say that someone approaching you doesn't have legal authority? Sheesh, there's a new 'enforcement' angency created every 10 days for Christ's sake.

Actually, I'm a little more pissed about it than that. These 'tollroads' are supposed to gain income to make the highways better.....been on the tri-state lately? Seven tolls and shitty roads. Sheesh. I've always hated Chicago but to charge someone for entering or leaving? Charging a toll to enter or leave Chicago is like asking for your boarding pass to hell.

There were no moving parts on the Pinto failures. It was a static line bolt and a gas tank placement design error. Both could have been fixed by less than $30.00 with a recall. Thanks, Lee.

Personally, I've had my issues with Dell about a year ago. The very day I received my 'custom built' unit I wanted to replace the hard drive with one of my very own. There were some configuration issues that I had problems with (and I've installed MANY hard drives mind you) and the PC woudn't boot so I called 'technical support'. As it turns out, they apparently don't support 3rd party hardware. I explained I wasn't asking them to 'support' it, just help me install it. Again, no help. After trying the manufacturer, I eventually gave up and re-installed the original HD. Guess what....thing worked like a charm. I got rid of it that day.
