    In Indiana, I could vote in either primary. I'm not sure if I could switch from year to year. However, once I vote in a primary it becomes public record that I am whatever party.

    Wolf-pac has about 27k signatures. Check out http://www.movetoamend.org/ - they are much further along and seem to have a much more comprehensive program.

    Has anyone done any research on how phone OS apps handle bad certificates? I know browsers will alert you, but while many apps are just web pages, all the usual interfaces are hidden.

    Yeah, If a terrible adult show gets on TV it gets cancelled pretty quick. However the kid networks seem to double down on advertising and they will keep that crappy show going for at least three seasons.

    But even that outsourcing has it's problems. The true experts are kept busy or they already have decent jobs. To scale up for a short term project is either really expensive, or full of "experts".

    Patents were useful in a time where the written word was expensive to produce in quantity and ideas could easily be lost. This is just not the case anymore. Our population alone has put us into the million monkeys on typewriter range.

    Fly Swatters also have a lever effect which is probably the most effective part of them. The holes my help slightly. For every inch you turn your hand the end of the fly swatter moves several inches, thus amplifying your speed.

    robot made fast food that is mostly fats and sugars...
    or
    A timeshare robot that pops in and preps your meal; peeling, slicing, dicing, kneading dough, etc... You come home to your freshly prepped ingredients and put them together for a delicious meal.

    I agree, but I think there is room for robotics also. Maybe you key in your recipe and your timeshare robot comes over and peels the potatoes, fillets the fish, and washes your salad. After everything is prepped it places it back into the refrigerator and moves onto the next location.

    I've heard this repeated many times over the past several years and it smacks of elitism. "almost everyone is dumber then me.. I guess I'll have to take care of them..."

    Those guys that turn wrenches on the factory floor probably have things they enjoy doing and do well. Maybe they fish and make their own lures. Maybe they enjoy tinkering with small engines. Not every factory drone drinks themselves into a stupor every night and rolls out of bed with a hangover to turn bolts for 8 hours. I would posit that the ones who do, do so because they have been stuck in an unfulfilling and mindless job.

    Robots would be great to take over those mindless jobs and allows us to move forward into a more artisanal and creative society. Not that there isn't a place for a solid social safety net.

    Hiding behind silence or "ignorance" is the stupidest plan in the world. Knowledge is out there whether you say it out loud or not. Better to make it part of a rational discussion. Most people have learned this, you should too.

    On a side note I will never attend an event where all you can carry is a clear bag. I find it unbelievable that people will put up with this abuse so they can watch a bunch of millionaires chase each other around a field. Something to scare people away from NFL games might not be such a bad thing, as long as nobody gets hurt.
