    I'm in the process of setting up a pi-hole that uses my VPN providers dns upstream.

  6. AirVPN and PIA are not on that list. PIA is US based, which some might like, but some might not. Air is based in France, still 5 eyes, but Euro privacy protection.

    Bootable usb stick is the way to go.

    And a stolen key can be passed around just as easily as a broken weak key.
    Both are unacceptable and the internet will route around such requirements.

    My kids school uses Ipads, so this is interesting to me. Although their icloud account was 25GB, which fills up from one backup. I was looking at using this to back them up when they turn them in this year. We rent them from the school.

    My biggest complaint is that we have to lie about our kids ages. You can't create a child account without an existing apple product to manage from, there is no ability to manage from a website.
    The school 'could' create child accounts, but they won't participate in the program for some reason. I spent a good two months trying to figure out why and complaining about the necessity to create a 13+ year old account for my six year old.

    I've been using duckdns since September 2015. If it goes away, I'll find another one. It seems stable enough and they have added features and directions in that time, so it's does not appear to be abandoned.
    It also looks like they have met their funding goals and get sufficient monthly income. Although, you should donate if it's important to you.

    You can use several DDNS providers with letsencrypt. Here's directions for the one I use, duckdns.

    In the real world, a weak key is identical to an easily stolen key. They are the same, even if they are technically different.
