Meaning a show I was getting on Netflix is on another service which wants my ~$10 a month for access to their entire lineup when all I want is the one show they used to license to Netflix. If I watch 10 shows in total I am now paying over $100...

I certainly opiate rx's should be limited, however I also think addicts or long term users should have options to declare themselves as such and get what they need without black markets.
I wish the pro life people would figure this out. You can't ban social problems, you can only manage the causes. If pregnancy wasn't a $10k condition that caused loss of life, evictions, long term economic uncertainty; abortions would decrease naturally.
My children's school uses Ipads, which have a child ID option. It requires you to have a different apple device with an adult apple ID or the school can use a special process to create child ID's. My school will not create ID's and I don't have apple devices so my only option is to create ID's for my children and say they are over 13. The school says I'm technically creating an ID for me and just letting my kids use my ID.
I've gone through some pretty convoluted processes to try and work around this, but nothing works.
A constant problem I have experienced is Windows systems will auto populate themselves into MS DNS. Linux systems will not, even if they are joined to the domain. Sometimes I've had success using 'nsupdate' to add the entry, but the DNS server seems to forget them periodically.
I'm a parent who has argued plenty about Ipads. It's like yelling into a void. My district doesn't even take advantage of the program to create apple ID's for under 13 year old students. We rent from the school and they do nothing to manage them. They send us a list of "free" apps to install. Since I don't have another apple device, I can't create a child account and my kids are stuck with "over age 13" accounts.
What are the penalties for non-compliance?
Organizations can be fined up to 4% of annual global turnover for breaching GDPR or €20 Million. This is the maximum fine that can be imposed for the most serious infringements e.g.not having sufficient customer consent to process data or violating the core of Privacy by Design concepts. There is a tiered approach to fines e.g. a company can be fined 2% for not having their records in order (article 28), not notifying the supervising authority and data subject about a breach or not conducting impact assessment. It is important to note that these rules apply to both controllers and processors -- meaning 'clouds' will not be exempt from GDPR enforcement
Err...well, if you want to get a CC (Carry Concealed) license in most states, you have to first take training classes, learn the laws, and show a proficiency with you firearm before you can get said carry license.
We send handle mobile phones for large companies and send lots of reports and other relevent emails. We use a similar service, sendgrid. It helps keep us off the blacklists and stay in compliance. We also don't have to worry about an running an open relay or something on accident, all our automated mail goes through sendgrid. We use O365 for regular email.
Defined benefit plans were setup poorly, but that should have and could have been fixed. The 401k systems in place now are cash grabs and huge wealth transfers.
How many workers get raises when their pensions disappear?
I hear they are using matrix and a custom Riot client.

Some might posit the is an area between people you want to contact you and people you will shoot if they do.
I'll check it out. thanks

There is no included CIFS/SMB client for Ipad. There are some paid products in the app store, but no free ones.

The problem is, you can't.

I've contacted the district, the EFF, and anyone who will listen.
The district next door seems to have no problem creating child account, but mine, sucks at technology.
Otherwise it's a great district. I'm thinking of running for the school board.

Gee... I wonder what we could use gun registration to pay for...
It's not cheap to treat gunshot victims.
Well, I have no problem with a death penalty. I do have problems with our justice system. I find his pandering to bigots disgusting.
Nah, life isn't shitty and his golden age wasn't so different.
Knives have less collateral damage then guns, and kill less people at a time. Citation: http://www.idsnews.com/article...
Disgusting.

Haha... pull the other one.
We get it Gramps, I didn't see this story tagged, "tell us how much better your childhood was".
No love for Suse?
also 1.0.0.1, that's cloudflare's backup DNS.
I worked at a company whose core network was 192.0.0.0/24. It took me two years to get everything moved to a real private IP space.

We use sendgrid at work, they do a pretty good job. We mostly send reports and stuff, not spam.
We're talking about an escrowed key service installed by a manufacturer as a backdoor, keep up. How would you know it was compromised?
