The only reason AbiWord didn't output errors is because it's programmed to only output them in debug mode. Gnome/gtk and other OS apps are programmed to always output them.
Maybe we'll have less wood computer jokes from now on. And maybe M$ will use Linux as its kernel for future versions of windows. Come to think of it, we should make a distor reproducing Windoze's GUI, to attract long-time windoze users...
In fact, I might not ever try 7.2 because of the really annoying ppp-watcher in 7.1. I had an ISP problem where the chat script would fail to authenticate, and the ppp-watcher just dialled again and again and again... Really annoying, and hard to change. I'm sure I'd miss RH if I stopped using it because I've used it since RH 2.1. For the moment I'm running Red Hat 7.1.93 at home and Debian on my laptop.

What, are you using a modem? I downloaded 2 of the ISOs in 30 minutes!
I keep getting disturbing images of the only OS that can access the internet being windows, after microsoft unveils their tcpXP protocol... Without internet support Linux withers and near-vanishes...
I thought it stood for 'Disk Doubler'... That's what it does, anyway...

And I only started about 1-2 minutes ago...
My download time estimates show I should have it within 5 minutes!
GNU/Linux: Linux kernel, with GNU software.
Ouch. Mine is only about $40 a month. And as you can see from my spam-armoured e-mail, I don't exactly live in Silicon Valley...
Come to think of it... How do I disable the graphical bootloader?
Forget P-IV's try Athlons...

It's fdisk /mbr
14.4KBPS modem, eh?
Next you're going to tell me they've gone past the 2.2.14 kernel...
Does 2.4.9 ring a bell?
Not a problem for me. I use a cable modem.

Aughhh! The initals of the beast!
Delete its .exe file. Or upgrade to Linux...
Yes. Bill Gates.
99% of all people are 'sheep', as you call them.
