Already have them. Beisdes the little network/station id bug in the corner, many networks are running little scrolls on the bottom of the screen.

Not just for latebreaking info but for jest about everything. I believe the E! network has run some ads on them as well.*

*ads being commericals for upcoming shows. No products, yet.

More people with the device skip the commericals, same as with vcr, except with the later, one must hit the fast forward button. Even with commerically available video, you generally see a bunch of ads at the front, especially those from Blockbuster (renter or otherwise).

let me know when the first company actually pays for this.

These days companys are downsizing and cutting back. We just sold off a bunch of extra inventory and were told to power down our computers at night and especially the weekend to save electricity.

Now when I came in this morning, a bunch of furniture has been hauled out with "sold" signs tagged to them.

At a certain college in Dallas, the computer lab is filled with Dells, complete with banners on the walls; along with the usual Microsoft paraphinelia(spell?) and discount student purchase.

Those who control the purses have little computer knowledge. Those who control the computers prefer to keep their jobs and influence those with the pruses.
