    That's my point. It is being specific for Christians but no one else. And any religion without God isn't covered.

    the pledge was written by a baptist minister 118 years ago and "under God" has only been around since 1954.... hell, my parents are older than "under God" if you don't like it

    So, you'd have no legal problem with the pledge saying "under Satan?" You'd just shrug and say, well, i guess i should get some people together and change it.

    we are guaranteed freedom OF religion, not freedom FROM religion.....

    What's the difference? The whole reason the quakers came to Penn's Woods was to GTFO of England so they could have freedom from the Church of England's religion.

    If we aren't freed from religion, then i hope to budda, that you have kids and they are taught satanism in school, because they shouldn't have freedom from religion. I can't believe the Supreme Court has been trying to take Satanism (religion) out of schools.

    They won't even let teachers lead black mass anymore!!!

    What if the branding iron was a curling iron and you were burnt by your hair dresser by accident? Would that be torture or is it only torture if you did it at a much higher temperature?

    I feel like this is no true scotsman in reverse.

    I never once said it required to be done for months on end to be torture. But holding someone underwater for 10 seconds instead of 10 days definitely changes things.

    Oh and every journalist that volunteered to undergo it said it was torture. And even our president declared it as torture.

    How are they going to do that? Maybe they'll start by melting all guns into plows and burning all of their books? They can't really treat the rest of the world like they treat their own people. It doesn't work that way.

    China just wants to control everything because there nation is developing faster then they anticipated.

    You mean like when they tried to control everything during the Great Leap Forward by killing and jailing hundreds of thousands of people? Killing all of your scholars really helped make the nation develop slower.

    Or are you talking about squashing unarmed protesters? Or are you talking about squashing unarmed protesters?

    And it's not like the whole situation was about blocking human rights organizations, but Chinese activists. You know what US does in a same kind of situation? It goes in war with Afghanistan and Iraq. And forget acting humanly - soldiers were raping whole families and so on.

    I didn't realize these Chinese activists had hijacked planes and blown up skyscrapers in China. Now i understand why China is after them!

    Is this also why China runs over unarmed people with tanks?

    Well it is definitely rewiring tongue sensations for visual images. If he is blind, his sense of taste is already greatly enhanced, since all of his senses should have started using the visual cortex. They are just using some of the visual cortex for visual processing again, but this time via the tongue.

    You are really reaching. You are saying that people should plan 5 phones down the road. Don't buy the phone you need for today, buy crappy phones that will eventually be the phone you need down the road. I'm don't really mean to say the android is crappy, but you are asking people to invest in the phone they think isn't as good (presumably they buy the best phone that matches their needs).

    I think competition is great. And the author brings up great criticism. But it's hyperbole to compare choosing a phone and global climate change.

    I think the woosh might be that JSON (iphone) is not proprietary and is better than XML for most things. XML:Google::JSON:Apple doesn't really work.

    And in stupid states like MA, neither party can record the conversation without making the other party aware. So if you have a really complicated hearing aid with a DSP, it should be considered a felony since "sound" is "recorded" even if it is only temporary.

    I don't have the time to write an introduction to the basis of our criminal laws. Your question requires a lot more background then a simple answer.

    Like, is it fair to arrest anyone not convicted of a crime (yet)? Is it fair to pull people over for speeding even though a judge hasn't found them guilty?

    I try to eat pastured chickens. Chickens that are allowed to move freely inside large pastures with fences keeping them from getting run over on the road.
