    Just require DNA to purchase, and use, a phone. We don't need that pesky free-speech and privacy do we?

    One of the costs of liberties is that some will abuse them. The answer is not to take them away from the rest. ( but its what the government wants to do, and garbage like this just helps them snow the populace into thinking its for 'their own good'.

    Obscene ( and other ) materials don't get grandfathered in when the laws are changed.

    If they 'move the bar' then existing materials may just become illegal. ( not saying that is the case here, but just because it was distributed in the past doesn't mean it can now )

    As we lose control little by little of our hardware, software, documents ( DRM ), its just a matter of time.

    You ever eat food that didn't kill you ? (FDA), or drink water? How about housing the hard core criminals in prison?

    Does it snow in your area? Plows are a nice thing to have.

    Sure there is a lot of waste in government, but you get a lot more benefit then you are giving them credit for.

    Ya, their HD is what most call SD. Their SD is actually 'subpar' definition, not 'standard'.

    Much like their other services, like 'high speed internet' that you cant actually use.

    I think you can tell, it just doesnt really matter much.

    Same reason we have MP3. Sure its not the same as analog, but its good enough.
