    Is a bad choice anyway. Not just a Microsoft bash, but aside from all the security issues, windows is XP is a desktop platform, not a OS to be putting on dedicated devices ( even the so-called embedded version really isn't any more appropriate for this, don't let the marketing folks fool you )

    An ATM should be running off a custom embedded OS targeted for this purpose, not a commodity OS.

    It really doesn't answer the question of what happens when Google proper loses interest and pulls funding. Does it survive on its own, or vanish?

    If its was a more established language, with decades behind it, there would far less risk in choosing it. But that is always the chicken/egg problem with stuff like this.

    Ok, and the problem with that is? They are a for-profit company, and if a product does not live up to revenue expectations it needs to go. Just like thousands of other companies do on a daily basis with their 'under performing' products.

    And plenty of obscure things that you couldn't buy if you wanted to. I agree, now we are stuck with 'top 40' type sties. ( or going underground )

    But all that said, i don't trust them. This may be 100% legit, and the original founders have come back to life but at this stage of the game, i doubt that has happened.

    Tho you are a troll, ill answer you question anyway: Revamp copyright laws so its NOT illegal for non-profit sharing to occur.

    I'm rather tired an annoyed how SCOTUS can wreck and change laws by simply interpreting them differently.

    To be fair that is their job.. But i do agree they are not being consistent with the Constitution, which is how they are supposed to do their job. They are not supposed to rule by 'personal feeling', but hard facts based on that document.
