    Him being trusted makes it even more dangrous if hes gone rogue, or someone else in his organization has.

    I prefer point to point encryption with no middle man and a direct connection between us. Nothing is perfect, but it should be better than putting your trust in someone else, no matter who it is..

    The entire creation of the magazine is digital. All they are doing is cutting out the printing middle man. For better or worse the content isnt changing, just that it will have more restrictive access.

    There is no 'blur' here.

    The main reason ls that LCD SUCKS for reading anything more than a page or two. If you are going to truly read, e-ink is the only way to go and there is no debate on the matter. Thus an LCD 'ebook reader' is a farce and a complete contradiction of terms.

    Even if this proves to be correct, that we live in a huge multi-dimentional interferrence pattern, that doesnt make it any less real to us or the particles that exist due to it, and it desnt require it to be a simulation.

    ( i happen to think this is closer to the truth than most theories, but i never had any way to prove it

    This is why, if we are going to have a 3D printing revolution, it needs to happen right now before such a standard can be created.

    Just like DRM in other devices, it will still happen and slowly encroach as existing pre-drm devices die, or as new proteced file formats become the norm. Then the 'revolution' that did or didnt happen becomes pretty much moot.

    At that point only the 'hard core' will have unencumbered devices, but 99.999% of the rest of the world will be screwed.
