by rewritting, do you mean cutting and pasting, or just rewritting it so it says the same things, only slightly differently?

  2. Where's the logic? on "Dark Matter" Observed · · Score: 0, Redundant

The logic of astrophysicists has always amazed me. We can see dark matter, which is invisable because it sucks in light, because we can see a star from very far away. Wow. We should put these astrophysicists in charge of something more usefull where their unique flair of logic could be of real use.

Shooting down aircraft could be an interesting application. Target the fuel area. If computers can track a morter, it shouldn't too much harder to track a jet, as long as it's performing basic maneuvering. We already have hand held laser weapons, as long as you call using a laser pointer and flashing them in a person's eye, a weapon. Make it brighter and more conventional, and you got a weapon that can blind the enemy.

  7. Expen$ive on Battlefield Lasers · · Score: 1

Man, $3000 / shot? That's a lot. Use a $5 million dollar missle to blow up a tent and a $3000 shot to shoot down a $50 mortar shell. Now that's what I call efficient spending. Which side will run out of money first? For $1000, you cause the US government to spend $60,000 shooting down mortar shells (assuming shells do cost $50)

They're already talking about making a movie based on the Enterprise series. TOS, TNG, and Enterprise were about exploring. Voyager was about coming home, and DS9 was about gaurding the wormhole. Both Voyager and DS9 have finished their plot arches. I'd be more interested in a DS9 movie over Voyager because what story is left to tell in Voyager? Any movie done with Voyager could also be done with TOS, TNG, and/or Enterprise.

I don't think that'll be very good. I tried bongo. I failed it 3 times before passing it. Sound wasn't working so I couldn't try the sound test. I also had some trouble on FBW. Gimpy was pretty easy to pass. If I have trouble on some of these tests, then people who have trouble using a mouse will certainly fail some of the types.
