    Battery life isn't really much of a concern to most people. You can basically charge the phone at any time. It will improve, of course. As for interfaces, they only need to be good enough.

    A lot of people own a DS because it's the perfect casual gaming device. However, phone capabilities are quickly catching up with dedicated portable gaming systems. The DS was right for its time. Now phones will take over as the casual gaming devices of choice.

    Wrong. Several companies, including Mozilla, Opera, OpenWave and Access are making money off of browsers. Just like Google is making money from searches even though it's a free service.

    Opera and Mozilla are not owned by Google. They use Google because Google out-bid other search engines in order to be the default search provider, or they wanted to use Google. Opera does indeed offer to switch to Bing, but that's irrelevant. Opera is not owned by Microsoft or Google. Google is in Opera because of a business relationship. IE is in Windows because Microsoft wanted to use their dominance in the OS market to destroy the browser market.

    Yes, it's bad to bundle IE when it leads to anti-competitive practices.

    Linux and Mac are not monopolies. Microsoft is, with Windows.

    When diplomacy fails, and Bush says Iraq is part of the war on terror, people twist it to say Bush is lying and saying Saddam was directly linked to 9/11.

    So you are claiming that Bush did not claim 9/11 links and WMD?

    You need to look up the Nobel Peace Prize Myths. It isn't necessarily awarded to someone who has proven to be successful:

    More often, the prize is awarded to encourage those who receive it to see the effort through, sometimes at critical moments.

    Despite what the media claims, I think you'll find in the long run, they'll likely have similar legacies. Americans want immediate satisfaction. When Americans realize war doesn't end overnight, that the economy doesn't repair itself overnight, and that most things they elected Obama for won't happen overnight, they'll turn. His approval ratings are already really low.

    So because it takes time to undo the damage Bush did to the country, Obama is equally bad? Wow.

    Why yes we do. A company openly filed an antitrust complaint against Microsoft. The EC openly responded that the complaint seemed to have merit. And so on.

    Opera isn't getting any money from Microsoft out of this. They never even asked for it.

    You really believe companies try and sway government for the larger public good.

    Why yes, Opera actually did that. If you weren't such an ignorant moron, you would have known about all the crap Opera and other alternative browsers have had to deal with because of Microsoft. Opera found an opportunity to report Microsoft's crimes to the authorities, which both allows other browsers to compete on more equal grounds, and it promotes open standards, which Opera has been spending real money on for many years.

    The thought process behind Opera was thus: "we have no money, what do we do, let's go bitch the government"

    Except Opera has a huge pile of cash, is profitable, and is already growing like crazy.

    Regulation should be feared.

    Laws exist for a reason. Microsoft broke the law.

    Opera isn't getting a single dime from this. They never sued. They never asked for money. All they did was to report Microsoft's criminal activity to the authorities. So your insane conspiracy theories are getting crazier by the second.

    By the way, do you object to companies that commit fraud being forced to pay reparations to their victims after they are convicted?

    The perfectly valid skepticism of Microsoft comes from the fact that Microsoft has consistently acted in such a way that they have undermined the market, and destroyed better companies and product by abusing their position in the market. Basically, the "hatred" is based on knowledge about Microsoft's history, which you apparently lack.
