  1. Validating DirectX on An Open Source Direct3D 8.0 Wrapper for Open GL · · Score: 0
Why the hell should the DirectX be "validated" when we have a superior and more open 3D infrastructure in OpenGL?!

I'm beginning to suspect that along with the .NET/Mono fuckup this is yet another Micro$oft's dirty embrace-and-extend covert campaign. Get them on board and then... screw them royally!

Fundamentally imaginary and valid only because you have been conditioned to believe in it. That's why I gave away my two karma-capped accounts and became a conscientious karma objector. To my mind Karma is nothing but a moderation tool and thus enables censorship and oppression on Slashdot.

    Oh fuck it!

I'm sick and tired of this invasion of privacy stuff. I'm too tired to start even fighting the hordes of soccer moms who want to turn the world into something where you are "free" to do anything else than things that MIGHT hurt someone else or yourself.

    I give up.

Bring on the world government already! After all, we already have (or will soon have) the Pax Americana:

"What kind of peace do I mean? What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for their children-- not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women-- not merely peace in our time, but peace for all time." -J.F.
