    Indeed, I canceled my subscription & stopped playing WoW for roughly one year. Then I felt like playing again last month, and was easily able to restore my account & characters over the phone.

    Well, just as a hypothetical, what if an author writes a truly great book, the press is just starting to buzz about it, copies are flying off the shelves at an exponentially-increasing rate, and... he/she's hit by a bus, leaving a spouse and several small children.

    I'll agree 70 years after death seems WAY excessive, but it's pretty easy to imagine situations where copyright expiring immediately at the author's death may not be the most desirable situation.

    They released the fonts under a license which allowed redistribution. Which people are continuing to do, per the terms of the license.     Good point, but apparently we'll still get the death penalty for killing an idiot. So I guess the point is, you have to kill at least 2 idiots before they catch you, or the net effect will be 0. (Then again, if your opinion of your own relative intelligence is accurate, you'd better take out at least 20 of the lesser stock!)

    Actually, it is as easy as he might think, in the case of google (which appears to be the specific case he is addressing)
    The sponsored links have a different-colored background and clearly say "Sponsored Link".
