What's the point of having double, or triple, or quadruple dose of so-called "psychology" if one can't even get on with one's life?

What is the most important aspect of life is what we ARE doing right now

We can only plan for the future

As for the past - other than the lessons that I've learnt - I let the past be the past

Crying over spilled milk ain't gonna get any of the spilled milk back

Wallowing over the past over and over again ain't gonna change the past

    What had happened, had happened

Having sessions upon sessions of therapy ain't gonna turn back the clock

Has the world changed because of James Bond, 007?

Has the world changed because of _any_ novel?

SciFi novels are novels, SciFi novels are no different from other genre of novels - and just like other novels, SciFi's basic aim is to provide the readers something to occupy their free time - and by reading the novel - the readers are transported by the writing into an imaginary realm

Many famous books had been written. Books like "Animal Farm", "World and Peace", "1984" did have their effects on their readers - unfortunately they too, have failed to change the world

Anyone who has been through war, and experiencing up close all the savagery stuffs that war brings, know what I am talking about

I do not forget - how can anyone forget such experience?

But I do have a whole life in front of me and I am determined to not letting my life being led by those gory memories

Just leave them behind, stuffed the memory in some backrooms inside the brain, and get on with life

The Jewish Holocaust survivors had done that

The Vietnamese war victims had done that

    How come the Americans can't?

How come they have to "seek therapy" and letting their lives be ruined by bad experiences?

For crying out loud, this guy who previously worked in Google only get to watch the gory thing - he was spared the other senses, like smell the blood, like feel the scorching heat from an explosion, like having the guy next to you losing almost half his torso in an explosion and still living and screaming - many of us had lived through that, and our lives ain't as f*cked as that guy

There are tens of millions (if not hundreds of millions) of human beings in this world who are malnourished - and the tomatoes that gone to waste could have been put into better use than the wasteful display in Spain

And now we have this "Cellphone throwing contest" in Finland

Perfectly usable cellphones that could have found better usage in third world countries are being destroyed, just for the fun of it

It's this type of pure, unadulterated wasteful behavior of the West that has festered anger of many millions of people elsewhere

Because of the wasteful display of the West, when the economic crisis hit Europe and America, the rest of the world actually felt that the West deserves all the hardship brought on by the economic crash

Events such as the "Cellphone throwing contest" are irresponsibility, childish, and wasteful act - and no one, not even the West, should continue to condone such behavior
