    Those that sign up, will be at the mercy of the UN (useless nations), bank on it.

    Which is to say they will face no restrictions what so ever, and will be free to use the nuclear material for any purpose they want with no fear of anything but a stern "talking to".

     
    Or to put it another way, this "low enrich Uranium fuel bank" idea is to ensure a permanent divide of two classes of nations -
     
    First Class Nations which are allowed to do whatever they like with Nuclear Science - including producing super-enriched-grade Uranium (and all other radioactive materials) and to make all types of nuclear bombs),
     
    ... and ...
     
    Beggar Class Nations which have to rely on the First Class Nations to supply them with the low-grade Uranium, to power their nuclear power plants
     
    Right now, there's already a divide, but the line between them is not clear cut. With this, the line is fixed, and the beggar class nations will forever sign away their right to become self-dependent

    The rise of Apple stocks is not totally due to the perception of Apple Inc is worth what and what billions, but rather ---- The world we live in, right now, is being flooded with too much liquidity, and those excess cash is looking for each and every way to stay ahead of the curve, and Apple Inc just so happened to become the "safe haven" for the time being, until ...
     
    ... as you mentioned, when people starting to realize that Apple Inc ain't worth that much in the first place, and a crash will commence

    I know the title is ridiculous, but everything about this scam henge on it
     
    Normal paper-based cash are almost un-traceable, that is why petty criminals often get to spend the cash that they robbed from old ladies
     
    If Bitcoin is untraceable, then the masterminds behind this ponzi-scheme get to "spend" their ill-gotten loot as well, without being identified
     
    I use Bitcoin, but I am not well verse with all the details
     
    If I were to scam someone and got his Bitcoin, could I spend them, without being identified?

    The problem is that whatever you might think of, someone has already a patent on it or a patent that's broad enough to cover what you do. Not because they ever thought of using the phone like you, but because they sought to cover as broad base as possible with their patent.

     
    That's very, very true !!
     
    I've independently come up with a lot of new ideas, but my lawyers tell me they found existing patent coverages that are so broad, that even when the existing patents themselves are not similar with my new inventions, they effectively rendered my new inventions "invalid"
     
    And I suspect that I am the only one who is frustrated and hamstrung by the broken patent system

    On my desktop, I put the mouse on the left side of the keyboard and I move the mouse with my left hand

    And I don't know why 99.9% of the time I see others put their mice on the right side of their keyboard

    I find it cumbersome to have to juggle my right hand from keyboard to mouse and then back again, while the left hand remains idle 75% of the time

    I am a male, and, thanks to my parents, I get to keep my foreskin

    I do not f*ck around - and when I did, I made sure I took all the precautions, like using condom, like wash my private part clean after sex (when possible) and, most importantly, not having any same-sex intercourse

    Till now, and knock on wood, I haven't been infected by HIV

    Seriously, I think the "less AIDS" argument does not hold much water, scientifically

    If one practices hygienic lifestyle - that is, takes the effort to keep private part, including the inside of the foreskin, clean after sexual intercourse

    One the other hand, a male who no longer has any foreskin due to circumcision, if he engages in unsafe sex, the man would probably ending up contacting AIDS, even without his foreskin

    I find it very ludicrous for a medical association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, to issue such claim

    I have to confess that I did feel a little bit queasy reading what Timothy has posted
     
    This world that we live in today, where "paid reviews", "forum astroturfing", "blog spamming" and "rabid fanboyism" are been actively encouraged and sponsored by for profit corporations such as Microsoft, Adobe, Apple Inc., - mainly from the Western democracies - any effort in linking Russia to similar "illegal" and/or "unethical" activities is futile
     
    It was the West who have fine-tuned activities such as being described in TFA to an art-form, in the first place

    If generations upon generations of human species are put through genetic engineering, the result will be something that might be able to live on methane but they can no longer be known as "Homo Sapiens Sapiens" anymore, can they?

    It was a kangaroo court, to put it mildly

    You are, Sir, in the same situation as your Chinese friend

    We all know that China actively censor the Net, and most importantly, China isn't denying that they censor the Internet

    But on the other hand, how about the so-called "democratic West" ?

    How sure are you that there isn't any censorship?

    The level of Net censorship could be way lower than that of China, but I assure you, there _ARE_ censorship being carried out

    Rightly or wrongly, closing down a website for "violation of laws" - be it piracy or hatespeech or child pornography or terrorism or whatever - is censorship

    Do not feel sorry for your Chinese friend, Sir

    Feel sorry for yourself, instead

    At the very least, your Chinese friend does understand that her government practices censorship and with that knowledge, she can (if she wants to) learn techniques to break the state imposed censorship

    On the other hand, you, Sir, because of your attitude of "The West Is Perfect, We Never Censor Anything", is already losing out on A LOT OF STUFFS (good and bad) that your government has decided that its better that you do not know about

    I happen to travel frequently, from the Americas to Europe to Asia (including Australia/NZ) to Africa, for business, and there are times I desperately need VPN that just works

    I do not need a lot of GBs, but I do need security - which means, VPN which do NOT keep any log of my online activity

    Can anyone recommend VPN services that can work in _any_ country in this world?

    There might be a more fuel efficient way to collect those jetsam and floatsam -
     
    Setting up garbage traps where sea currents flow, and collecting the jetsam / floatsam as they are flowing nearby
     
    While this method is far from perfect - the set up for such device is a no-brainer
     
    But there is one very important thing TFA has not mentioned - many of the plastic garbage that end up in the sea do NOT float - they sunk, and end up littering pristine ocean floor, even the Mariana Trench has been polluted

    While I dunno what's the level of risk of talking on cellphone while driving while compared to those who drive drunk, but I know one thing for sure ...

    I've been in couple of my friends' vehicles and they really scare the shit out of me

    Inside their car are new added distractions - from GPS map finder LCD screen to mini LCD/MP3 movie player, surrounding the driver seat

    The already cluttered atmosphere of where the driver does the driving, because of these added gadgets, become even more cluttered

    Please do not tell me that the combined effect from the LCD screens (GPS map finder, movie/MP3 player, cellphone, and so on, surrounding the vehicle driver, does not represent added distractions

    PTSD is a Western invention

    The Vietnamese who were victimized in the Vietnam war didn't have to go through the de-PTSD regime of therapy and still doing ok

    On the other hand, those American veterans who fought Vietnam war came back "damaged", suffering from - as the psychologist have claimed - PTSD

    So the vets had to go through uncounted sessions of PTSD therapy and then ? They still suffer PTSD, waking up cold sweat at night, floored immediately whenever a car nearby has a tire punctured, and so on

    The Jews who had survived holocaust, how many of them had PTSD ?

    Many of the holocaust survivor not only didn't suffer from PTSD, they went on to do great stuffs in their chosen field, be it Science, Art or even become great warriors

    The creation of the state of Israel was aided by many people who survived holocaust

    Instead of going into their own cocoon, the Jews got on to greatness because in the Jewish culture, stuffs like PTSD only indicates weakness, and weakness is looked down upon
