This is an important message to those people who would persecute trolls:
Do you not understand that trolls are people too. Sure, we may have a slightly different view on life than you do, but that is no reason to hate us. You use things such as karma points to judge those who are and are not trolls, when deep down inside we are all indeed a troll at heart.
Tell me JonKatz has never posted a story and you read it and say to your self, What the Hell was he talking about? or Man, I can't believe the level of stupidity behind that story. I feel dumber just for having read it.
All I am saying is give a troll a chance. Let him or her into your life and just love them. You will find that they have feelings too, and that by the horrible things you say about them, it really does hurt their feelings.

You post an honest opion of something that a moderator doesn't agree with. They have unlimited ability to mod your useful comment down... Now multiply that by the number of moderators at any given time. All you would get is the Whore posts.
Why don't the editors get some balls and tell us when they mod us down and when average Joe Moderator on crack mods us down. I used to post useful comments here on a different account, but when I started getting down modded because they oppose the editors views, I decided to give slashdot something to mod me down about.
I can truthfully tell you that this mod system does not work. It merely ensures that the karma whose that post comments that support an editor or moderator gets thier opinions across. Those of us who have chosen to try to make people think for themselves have been modded down.
