I brought them in a used book store for $1 each. Brings back great memories of staying up all night as a youngster totally enthralled with what I was learning...

Just like a virus, open source is spreading. "Open" is just codeword the pinkos use. It means communism. Open source has already ruined the software industry, now it's aiming for hardware. Say byebye to intel if they have their way. Then they'll find another place to spread their virus. Now that Barack Hussein Obama is elected they will have an easier time with their communist/socialist agenda. It's time to open your eyes, slashdot, to the dangerous and evil open source movement. If you don't believe me, just look at their leader, Hans Reiser.

If people aren't paying for software or support, guess what that means? No paycheck. I hope all you communists out there supporting open source now realize how it is contributing to the downfall of the industry. Hope your happy, and enjoy your new job working at walmart.
This is the way it should be. Limiting these chemicals protects the environment, stops terrorists from making bombs and prevents the creation of meth labs. This isn't 1856 anymore and important discoveries aren't made in labs in somebody's basement.

Even in Linux you can't bash or kill woman - it requires an argument and I'm sure the job ID is really a reference to your paycheck.
Microsoft makes some very good products. Not everything they make is perfect, but they really are innovators. Microsoft really was the big pioneer of the PC industry. If you take a look at the most popular open-source software, you'll see that most of it is really just a clone of Microsoft products (OpenOffice, Evolution, firefox) or software that interfaces with real Microsoft software (Wine, Samba, etc). I never understood why so many linux zealots bash Microsoft, then spend all their time cloning their software. Microsoft is an American corporation that employs thousands of computer professionals, programmers, accountants, etc. America needs all the help it can get right now after the failed policies of the Clinton administration have lead to this terrible economic crisis. Another thing to consider - look at how much the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation has helped the world. By avoiding purchasing American software like Vista, the linux community is basically a) ruining the US economy and b) taking food out of the tummies of starving African children
I agree completely. No wonder the American economy is fucked. Americans have no worth ethic anymore. They are the fattest, laziest, most unproductive group of people in the history of civilization.
