We don't know if Bouquet actually put the plan into effect, or if so with what result. We do know that a supply of smallpox-infected blankets was available, since the disease had broken out at Fort Pitt some weeks previously. We also know that the following spring smallpox was reported to be raging among the Indians in the vicinity.

  7. Re:Low Casualty on Strike on Iraq · · Score: 1

You got that from the use of the term PRISON? So if I said Coke® tastes good, that means Pepsi® tastes bad? Just meant that the US has an overwhelming military advantage. I hope the civilian casualties as low as they can be, given the situation. (And guess what, I'm not saying all human lives aren't valuable. So save any "As opposed to military personnel, whom you want to die?" posts) That makes my original post Troll-worthy? Oh well.

It's like prison rape, best if they get it over with quickly...

  9. Would mean *SOME* security for younger music fans on Apple to Launch Music Service? · · Score: 1

I want to set my niece up with a kazaa account so she can download music. Even with the passwords/filters provided by KaZaA. (diet, Lite, whatever) There are still plenty of songs that come up that I think her parents wouldn't want her downloading. (not to mention the risks involded with P2P) A service like this would be great at a lwer price than $.99 per song. (Then again, I have no clue what the average allowances is these days... :)

  12. Re:Poor Trailer on Star Wars II (Attack of the clones) Trailer · · Score: 1

gotta read more closely... they called it a "teaser". ( I think they called it that so they could say "Nyah, Nyah. You paid $8.50 to see a star Wars slide show, now you have to listen to 5 year olds whime and giggle during Monsters Inc." )

A number of "trailers" will be released to bolster upcoming 20th Centutry Fox films. I believe each trailer will concentrate on different aspects of EP 2. (Romance btw Anakin and Amidala, Obi Wan, etc.)

Can wait to hear the MOANING 'round here after the romantic trailer :)
"Is this a kissing book?" -Fred Savage

Adventure, beh... Excitement, feh... Bootie-knockin', hah... A Jedi cares not for these things.

  13. Re:They Know! on Star Wars II (Attack of the clones) Trailer · · Score: 1

Remember, there WAS a "wuv" story in EPs IV, V & VI...Anakin doesn't seem as smooth (or funny) as Han Solo, but doesn't the Dark Lord of the Sith deserve a little piece, too? (he probably won't get much REAL luvin after he turns)

Luke and Leia have to come from SOMEWHERE, right?
